Abstract Diabetic wounds pose a persistent challenge due to their slow healing nature, primarily caused by bacterial infection and excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐induced inflammation. In this study, carbon dots with synergistic antibacterial antioxidant properties, referred as AA‐CDs, are developed specifically for diabetic wound using straightforward solvothermal method. By utilizing cost‐effective precursors like citric acid ascorbic acid, AA‐CDs engineered possess tailored functions of photothermal sterilization ROS scavenging. The resulting demonstrats broad‐spectrum activity, particularly against multidrug‐resistant strains, along efficient scavenging both in solution within cells. Additionally, exhibits protective effect oxidative stress‐induced damage. Notably, high conversion efficiency (41.18%), displays heat‐enhanced performance, providing not only augmented but also additional protection stress, yielding true “1 + 1 > 2” effect. To facilitate use vivo, incorporated into thermally responsive hydrogel, which evident anti‐inflammatory properties modulating inflammatory factors significantly promots the wounds. This study underscores value integrated platforms highlights potential versatile CDs promising therapeutic agents biomedical applications.

Abstract Spoiled food has significantly impacted the global economy and public health, which increases worldwide concern about monitoring preserving freshness. Herein, a multi‐functional type‐I heterojunction (Eu@ZMC) is designed by europium metal‐organic framework (EuMOF), zinc oxide quantum dots (ZnO QDs), chlorogenic acid (CGA). Eu@ZMC achieves ratiometric fluorescent/colorimetric sensing of pH biogenic amines to detect Besides, paper‐based platform (PEu@ZMC) prepared can histamine with LOD 0.0142 0.0136 µg mL −1 in fluorescent colorimetric modes, respectively. An advanced OR/NOT‐gate logic device further constructed distinguish freshness into three levels (fresh, less fresh, spoiled). This dual‐mode sensor synergistic‐enhanced energy transfer triggered ZnO QDs‐promoted colorimetry heterostructure EuMOF QDs. The release low‐toxic ions inhibits various bacterial growth, including Salmonella typhimurium . According raw fish evaluation, not only effectively monitors spoilage externally internally aligning commercial kit, but also reduces speed, cannot be achieved through classical detection strategy. original work provides simple, convenient, reliable method for multi‐depth real‐time visual extract preservation, contributing economic benefits human health assurance.

Abstract Nanoparticle-based therapies are emerging as a pivotal frontier in biomedical research, showing their potential combating infections and facilitating wound recovery. Herein, selenium-tellurium dopped copper oxide nanoparticles (SeTe-CuO NPs) with dual photodynamic photothermal properties were synthesized, presenting an efficient strategy for bacterial infections. In vitro evaluations revealed robust antibacterial activity of SeTe-CuO NPs, achieving up to 99% eradication bacteria significant biofilm inhibition upon near-infrared (NIR) irradiation. Moreover, vivo studies demonstrated accelerated closure treatment NIR-activated demonstrating efficacy promoting healing. Furthermore, NPs exhibited rapid clearance within wounds, offering promising solution care. Overall, this versatile platform holds great promise multidrug-resistant advancing therapeutic interventions management.

Recently, metal peroxides with the ability to self-supply H2O2 have been intensively used in antibacterial and cancer therapy. However, performances are unsatisfactory due low efficiency of peroxide-mediated Fenton-like reaction. In this work, a novel zinc cerium bimetallic peroxide (CeZnOx) has first reported, which possesses acid-activated POD-like, OXD-like, CAT-like multienzymatic activities for efficiently bacterial inhibition. Specifically, CeZnOx self-supplying under weakly acidic conditions subsequently catalyzes production reactive oxygen species (ROS) through synergistically enhanced POD-like OXD-like activity. They can also exhibit activity catalyze excessive into O2 play an anti-inflammatory role normal pH conditions. The cascade inhibit growth alleviate hypoxia, improving microenvironment at wound site. As expected, exhibits superior effect on Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli. Therefore, CeZnOx-mediated offer simple promising strategy efficient treatment infections.

Abstract Conventional combinational antibacterial therapy requires the complicated assembly of multiple components that might cause a premature leak therapeutic agents. Thus one‐pot highly integrated multifunctional agents is desirable for treating multidrug‐resistant (MDR) bacteria. Herein, vancomycin‐derived carbon dots (Van‐CDs) are facilely developed as compact and powerful photodynamic nanozyme platform achieves augmented reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation accelerating bacterial elimination. By residual recognition groups vancomycin, red emissive Van‐CDs gain specific affinity toward bacteria with high binding constant 20 L g −1 , manifesting superior bacteria‐imaging ability. Meanwhile, encoded an excellent peroxidase‐mimicking (POD) activity mediating H 2 O ‐activated evolvement •OH, also endowed intrinsic property simultaneously producing singlet ( 1 ). Surprisingly, possesses auxiliary photothermal feature, which enables imaging‐guided hyperthermia‐reinforced in vivo. Furthermore, subcutaneous abscess model established to validate their pronounced biofilm eradication wound healing acceleration vivo through Van‐CDs‐promoted collagen deposition. Taken together, present all‐in‐one carbon‐derived functions represents promising competitive candidate diabetic infections clinical research.
