This investigation focused on assessing and enhancing ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) using natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) to extract phenolics terpenoids from sweet basil leaves. The initial stage involved evaluating the performance of twelve NADES ethanol. A comprising lactic acid glucose with a 2 : 1 molar ratio 20% water content (WC) obtained highest total phenolic (TPC) terpenoid (TTC). Single-factor experiments systematically examined impact liquid-to-solid (LSR), in (WC), ultrasound power, temperature, exposure time yield. Optimization Box–Behnken Design (BBD) models for glucose-based UAE revealed optimal conditions be 80 ml/g LSR, 30% water, 300 W, 50°C 15-minute time. Under these optimized parameters, achieved TPC TTC at 69.88 mg GAE/g 110.71 UA/g, respectively. study presents an environmentally friendly sustainable protocol compounds

Ursolic acid (UA), a pentacyclic triterpenoid, has gained attention for its pharmacological properties and industrial uses. This study explores natural sources of UA, including Plumeria rubra, apple peels, sage, rosemary, holy basil, while emphasizing sustainable extraction methods. Advanced techniques like Soxhlet extraction, solvent supercritical fluid (SFE), enzyme-assisted (EAE), microwave-assisted (MAE), ultrasound-assisted (UAE) are optimized to enhance yield purity. Ethanol methanol provide effective recovery, SFE with CO2 increases selectivity reduces residue. EAE boosts efficiency by breaking down cell membranes, allowing sustained UA release. With antibacterial, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory effects, holds promise in therapeutics applications nutraceuticals, cosmetics, food preservation. The aim of this study was to extract polysaccharides from Abelmoschus sagittifolius using the microwave‐assisted extraction (MAE) method. Three independent variables, including temperature, microwave power, and time, were chosen for investigation through single‐factor experiments. Response surface methodology (RSM) based on a Box‐Behnken design (BBD) utilized optimize conditions. found that optimal conditions polysaccharide temperature 63°C, power 650 W, duration 58 min. yield under these 29.8 g/100 g, closely matching experimental 30.1 g.
