Ultrafast Four‐Wave Mixing Phase‐Matched by Transient Nonlinear Phase Modulation in a MAPbBr3 Single Crystal

Abstract
A
degenerated
four‐wave‐mixing
(FWM)
process
in
single‐crystal
(CH
3
NH
)PbBr
(MAPbBr
)
is
reported,
where
150‐fs
laser
pulses
at
1.33
µm
are
employed
as
the
pump.
Two
pump
photons
interact
with
a
single
crystal,
producing
another
two
higher
and
lower
energies,
respectively.
One
of
FWM‐generation
sidebands
tuned
from
∼1.23
to
1.21
other
∼1.43
1.48
for
center
wavelength,
fluence
increased
2.6
11.69
mJ
cm
−2
.
The
self‐phase
modulation
induced
by
strong
through
optical
Kerr
effect
responsible
tuning
dynamics.
Transient
spectroscopy
not
only
verifies
FWM
scheme
interacting
waves
but
also
reveals
interference
dynamics
between
FWM‐generated
probe
pulse.
In
particular,
angular
dependence
generation
supplies
direct
evidence
phase‐matching
geometry.
Using
experimental
data,
nonlinear
refractive
index
coefficient
1.19
×
10
−14
2
W
−1
MAPbBr
determined.

Abstract
Quasi‐2D
perovskites
are
widely
used
in
solar
cells,
photodetectors,
and
light‐emitting
diodes
(LEDs)
due
to
their
excellent
optoelectronic
properties
stability.
However,
much
fewer
all‐optical
devices
realized
based
on
quasi‐2D
perovskites.
Although
have
large
nonlinear
optical
coefficients,
the
relaxation
progress
of
excitons
carriers
will
slow
down
response
time
reduce
signal
contrast
devices.
In
this
paper,
exciton
dynamics
investigated
under
off‐resonance
excitation
perovskite
PEA
2
(FAPbBr
3
)
PbBr
4
.
The
spin‐selective
Stark
effect
(OSE)
is
observed
through
circularly
polarized
transient
absorption
measurements,
a
shift
3.3
meV
achieved
1.11
eV
excitation.
hot‐biexciton
cooling
process
induced
by
two‐photon
also
observed.
A
spin‐based
XNOR
gate
demonstrated
with
≈180
fs,
logical
enhanced
competition
OSE
effect.
