Without a doubt, the current global pandemic affects all walks of our life. It affected almost every age group over world with disease named COVID-19, declared as by WHO in early 2020. Due to high transmission and moderate mortality rate this virus, it is also regarded panic-zone virus. This potentially deadly virus has pointed up significance COVID-19 research. rapid detection very crucial. Presently, there are different conventional techniques available for coronavirus like CT-scan, PCR, Sequencing, CRISPR, ELISA, LFA, LAMP. The urgent need rapid, accurate, cost-effective requirement cut off shortcomings traditional methods, make scientists realize advance new technologies. Biosensors one reliable platforms diagnosis. In article, we have recent diagnosis approaches COVID-19. review includes basic virology SARS-CoV-2 mainly clinical pathological features. We briefly discussed types biosensors, their working principles, advancement prevention.
