Achieving rapid global agricultural development while maintaining ecological harmony is a major challenge of the new millennium. Meeting this requires efficient and environmentally friendly agrochemicals, including pesticides fertilizers. Molecular assembly, as promising strategy, has garnered significant attention in recent years for advanced solid-state forms agrochemicals. In review, we present potential advancements forms, such polymorphs, cocrystals/salts, solvates, inclusion compounds, amorphous state, production high-efficiency low-polluting agrochemical products. We provide an overview concepts preparation methods these followed by exploration their applications sustainable agriculture. Specifically, highlight value enhancing pesticide solubility, enabling controlled release chemical fertilizers, reducing off-target risks.
