Abstract
Background
In
Japan,
there
is
a
tendency
to
view
COVID‐19
infection
as
one's
own
responsibility,
which
may
result
in
more
feelings
of
guilt
than
other
countries.
During
the
pandemic,
curfew
imposed
by
restricted
social
behavior
and
increased
anxiety
loneliness,
have
risk
suicide
among
young
women,
especially
mothers
who
were
highly
stressed
regarding
their
children.
Case
Presentation
This
case
report
two
Japanese
developed
following
with
COVID‐19,
leading
attempts.
They
feared
stigma
or
denial
due
infection,
they
unable
explain
others,
heightened
sense
self‐blame
addition,
women
heavy
burden
housework,
despite
dual
roles
at
home
work;
pandemic's
behavioral
restrictions
led
time
stress.
These
also
affected
economic
crisis
early
stages
pandemic
men.
Relatedly,
neuropsychiatric
symptoms
that
persisted
after
recovering
from
such
depression,
anxiety,
fatigue,
pain,
namely
postacute
syndrome
long
COVID,
precipitated
suicidal
ideation
these
cases.
Moreover,
complication
bipolar
disorder
could
attempts
caused
infection‐related
exacerbation
during
pandemic.
Conclusion
Suicide
prevention
measures
need

Backgrounds
Co-occurrence

thyroid
