Covid-19

Abstract
Background
The
duration

respiratory
syndrome
coronavirus

(SARS-CoV-2)

The
COVID-19
pandemic
poses
an
ongoing
public
health
challenge,
with
a
focus
on
older
adults.
Given
the
large
number
of
persons
who
have
recovered
from
and
reports
long-lasting
sequelae,
there
is
reasonable
concern
that
may
lead
to
long-term
deterioration
in
adults,
i.e.,
potential
"wave
frailty."
Therefore,
it
critical
better
understand
circumstances
surrounding
development
frailty
as
result
COVID-19,
well
underlying
mechanisms
factors
contributing
this
development.
We
conducted
narrative
review
most
relevant
articles
published

few
studies
date
addressed
