Acupuncture
is
an
integral
component
of
complementary
and
alternative
medicine
that
has
been
reported
to
enhance
sperm
motility,
improve
semen
quality,
consequently
augment
male
fertility.
However,
the
precise
mechanisms
action
underlying
molecular
pathways
remain
unclear.
In
present
study,
we
aimed
elucidate
potential

acupuncture
improves
reproductive
function
in
a
mouse
model
cyclophosphamide-induced
asthenozoospermia.

Transferrin
Receptor
2
(TfR2)
is
a
homolog
of
1
(TfR1),
involved
in
regulating
intra
and
extracellular
iron
levels.
Altered
pathways
have
been
associated
with
cancer
onset
progression;
however,
their
role
canine
tumors
remains
poorly
explored.
This
study
investigated
TfR2
immunohistochemical
expression
non-neoplastic
testis
for
the
first
time
most
common
types
testicular
tumors:
intratubular
seminomas
(ITSEMs),
diffuse
(DSEMs),
Leydig
cell
(LCTs),
Sertoli
(SCTs).
Immunohistochemical
analysis
revealed
differential
pattern
according
to
tumor
type,
high
observed
ITSEMs
DSEMs,
occasional
LCTs,
absence
SCTs.
These
results
suggest
that
may
play
relevant
seminoma
development.
Furthermore,
specific
highlights
its
potential
as
therapeutic
target,
where
regulation
possible
compensatory
mechanisms
warrant
further
investigation.

An

evidence
indicates
that
exposure
to

contaminants

mycotoxins
may
cause
endocrine
disorders
infertility.
Deoxynivalenol
(DON),
which
is
a
toxic
secondary
metabolite
produced
by
Fusarium
fungi,
can
lead
multiple
harmful
effects
in
humans
animals,
hepatotoxicity,
nephrotoxicity,
immunotoxicity,
gastrointestinal
toxicity,
neurotoxicity,
genetic
toxicity
carcinogenicity.
Recently,
there
has
been
growing
concern
about
DON-induced
male
Exposure
DON
its
metabolites
damage
the
structure
function
reproductive
organs,
resulting
impairment
gametogenesis
thus
impaired
fertility.
Potential
molecular
mechanisms
involve
oxidative
stress,
inflammatory

Moreover,
several
signaling
pathways,
including
nuclear
factor-kappa
B,
mitogen-activated
protein
kinase,
NLR
family
pyrin

containing
3,
factor
erythroid
2-related
2,
AMP-activated
apoptotic
microRNAs
are
involved
these
detrimental
biological
processes.
Research
shown
antioxidants,
small-molecule
inhibitors,
or
proteins
(such
lactoferrin)
supplementation
potentially
offer
protective
targeting
pathways.
This
review
comprehensively
summarizes
on
mammals,
underlying
emphasizes
potential
small
molecules
therapeutics.
In
further,
systematic
risk
assessment
when
at
doses
human
health,
in-depth
precise
mechanism
investigation
using
emerging
technologies,
development
more
effective
intervention
strategies
warrant
urgent
investigation.

cytoplasmic
immunostaining
occasional
immunopositivity
for
FTH1
spermatogonia
cells.
In
contrast,
Leydig
cell
tumors
(LCTs)
Diffuse
Type
Seminoma
(DSEM)
exhibited
increased
TfR1,
along
with
higher
expression,
suggesting
need
proliferation.
Intratubular
(ITSEM)
indicating
greater
storage,
while
LCTs
DSEM
suggested
ferritinophagy
release
(SCTs)
only
expression.
These
preliminary
findings
highlight
potential
molecular
targets
new
anti-neoplastic
treatments
