This literature review aimed to collect investigations on the in vivo evidence for bacteria associated with fermented dairy foods behave as probiotics beneficial effects prevention and treatment of various diseases. All main bacterial groups commonly present high numbers milks or cheeses were taken into account, namely starter lactic acid (SLAB) Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus lactis, L. helveticus, Lactococcus Streptococcus thermophilus, non-starter LAB (NSLAB) Lacticaseibacillus spp., Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, propionibacteria, other less frequently encountered species. Only studies regarding strains proven origin considered. Studies animal models clinical showed that ameliorate symptoms inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), mucositis, metabolic syndrome, aging oxidative stress, cancer, bone diseases, atopic dermatitis, allergies, infections damage caused by pollutants, mild depression. Hyperuricaemia (HUA) is a disorder of purine metabolism, which manifests itself as an increase in uric acid production and decrease excretion, well change the structure intestinal microbiota. Most drugs currently used to treat HUA have significant side effects, it essential find treatment for that free effects. In this study, novel strain, Pediococcus acidilactici GQ01, was screened from natural fermented wolfberry. The effects both live bacteria GQ01 its heat-killed G1PB postbiotic on were investigated. results showed probiotic postbiotics could effectively blood acid, creatinine, urea nitrogen levels mice model. P. more effective inhibiting ADA activity, while XOD activity. Meanwhile, able ameliorate liver kidney tissue injury, upregulate expression ABCG2 gene liver, downregulate protein URAT1 GLUT9 kidney, therefore reduce value by decreasing reabsorption increasing excretion acid. ABSTRACT Background and Aims Probiotics usually have beneficial effects on the absorption of trace elements detoxification toxic metals in human. Abstract Background Alzheimer’s disease (AD), affecting many elders worldwide, is characterized by A-beta and tau-related cognitive decline. Accumulating evidence suggests that brain iron accumulation an important characteristic of AD. However, the function mechanism iron-mediated gut-brain axis on AD still unclear. Methods A Caenorhabditis elegans model with tau-overexpression a high-Fe diet mouse impairment was used for probiotic evaluation. With use qPCR, immunoblotting, regulated differential expression markers related transporting genes determined. Colorimetric kits, IHC staining, immunofluorescence have been performed to explore development links accumulation. Results In present study, evaluation in which impairment, higher A-beta, tau phosphorylated (p)-tau expression, dysfunctional phosphate distribution were observed. ABSTRACT Strains across the Lactobacillaceae family form basis for a trillion-dollar industry. Type-1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1D) onset and development is closely linked with imbalance of gut microbiome, while supplementation probiotics may result in positive alterations microbiome composition. In the present study, effect a dietary intervention including free or immobilized cells presumptive probiotic Pediococcus acidilactici ORE5 on Corinthian currants, food beneficial impact condition diabetes, was investigated.
