Abstract Electronic skin (e‐skin), a skin‐like wearable electronic device, holds great promise in the fields of telemedicine and personalized healthcare because its good flexibility, biocompatibility, conformability, sensing performance. E‐skin can monitor various health indicators human body real time over long term, including physical (exercise, respiration, blood pressure, etc.) chemical (saliva, sweat, urine, etc.). In recent years, development materials, analysis, manufacturing technologies has promoted significant e‐skin, laying foundation for application next‐generation medical devices. Abstract Wearable optical sensors have emerged as a promising technology, opening up new way to monitor human sweat. With the advancement of integrated devices, materials, and structure design, current skin interfaces primarily employ four analytical methods transmit sweat chemical information into signals: colorimetry, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence, electrochemiluminescence. To improve portability, many external laser source devices imaging modules are upgraded based on different methods. Here, we summarize recent progress in sensors, focusing their principles, development, advantages, limitations. Finally, challenges future prospects wearable collection, data analysis, electronics discussed.
