Nitrogen-containing heterocycles are important scaffolds for a large number of compounds with biological, pharmaceutical, industrial and optoelectronic applications. Abstract A facile, catalyst‐ and solvent‐ free, three‐component reaction was developed for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrroles at room temperature under white light. The proceeds via enamine formation between primary amines with 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds followed by Michael addition β‐nitro styrene subsequent intramolecular cyclization aromatization to yield 1,2,3,4‐tetrasubstituted in good excellent yields. Further, present strategy is highly atom‐economical environmentally benign. preliminary vitro cytotoxic studies on a set were performed against Hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2) one 4 ac showed significant activity an IC 50 value 17.82 μM.

New functionalized magnetic core–shell nanoparticles, CuFe 2 O 4 @SiO ‐OP 5 H, were prepared by grafting of phosphorus pentoxide on nanoparticles and characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry vibrating sample magnetometry. The catalytic activity H as a novel catalyst was evaluated in the synthesis 1,8‐dioxo‐octahydroxanthenes under solvent‐free conditions. results showed that has high desired products are obtained yields within short reaction times. is readily recovered decantation can be used at least four times without noticeable deterioration activity.
