Natural products have a significant role in the prevention of disease and boosting health humans animals. Stroke is with high prevalence incidence, pathogenesis complex cascade reaction. In recent years, it's reported that vast number natural demonstrated beneficial effects on stroke worldwide. been discovered to modulate activities multiple targets signaling pathways exert neuroprotection via direct or indirect enzymes, such as kinases, regulatory receptors, proteins. This review provides comprehensive summary established pharmacological target mechanisms for cerebral ischemic injury vitro vivo preclinical models, their potential neuro-therapeutic applications. addition, biological activity closely related structure, structure-activity relationship most lacking, which should be further explored future. Overall, we stress neuroprotection, this wide band has made them suitable candidates treatment stroke.

Chitooligosaccharide (COS) is a natural product from the ocean, and while many studies have reported its important role in metabolic diseases, no study has systematically elaborated anti-obesity effect mechanism of COS. Herein, COSM (MW ≤ 3000 Da) was administered to diet-induced obese mice by oral gavage once daily for eight weeks. The results show that administration reduced body weight; slowed weight gain; serum Glu, insulin, NEFA, TC, TG, LDL-C levels; increased HSL HDL-C improved inflammation; lipid droplet size adipose tissue. Further lipidomic analysis tissue revealed 31 species are considered be underlying biomarkers COS therapy. These lipids mainly enriched pathways involving insulin resistance, thermogenesis, cholesterol metabolism, glyceride metabolism cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), which sheds light on loss Western blot assay demonstrated intervention can improve inhibit de novo synthesis, promote thermogenesis β-oxidation mitochondria AMPK pathway, thereby alleviating high-fat obesity. In short, our provide more comprehensive direction application obesity based molecular markers.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) supplementation on intestinal development and functions, inflammatory response, antioxidant capacity related signaling pathways in broilers aged d 1 14. A total 240 one-day old male Arbor Acres (40.47 ± 0.30 g) were randomly allotted 4 groups, each group consisted 6 replicate pens with 10 per replicate. Broilers fed a basal diet COS at 0 (CON group), 200 (COS200 400 (COS400 800 mg/kg (COS800 group) for 14 d, respectively. groups had no significant growth performance. Compared CON group, dietary increased (P < 0.05) relative weight duodenum, jejunal lipase activity, duodenal ileal villus surface area, lower amylase alkaline phosphatase crypt depth. The expression level glucose transporter (GLUT1), Na+-glucose cotransporter (SGLT1), peptide (PepT1), occludin, zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1), toll-like receptor (TLR4), myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88), interleukin-10 (IL-10), SGLT1, PepT1, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), fatty acid binding protein (FABP1) upregulated by COS. However, FABP1 TNF-α, GLUT1, ZO-1, TLR4, MyD88, nuclear kappa-B p65 (NF-κB p65), IL-1β, NF-κB p65, IL-1β downregulated Furthermore, catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) CAT T-SOD factor-erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2), CAT, (GPX1), copper zinc (Cu/Zn SOD), Nrf2, GPX1. These results suggested that could promote functions 14, which might be mediated alleviating response enhancing capacity.
