Two types of mesoporous materials, MCM-41 and MCM-48, were functionalized by the soft-template method using (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES) as a modifying agent. The obtained silica materials loaded with trans-ferulic acid (FA). In order to establish morphology structure series specific techniques used such as: X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). We monitored in vitro release FA at two different pH values, simulated gastric fluid (SGF) intestinal (SIF). Additionally, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Escherichia coli 25922, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 27853 Candida albicans 10231 evaluate antimicrobial activity materials. conclusion can be employed controlled systems for polyphenols extracted from natural sources.

Several developments and research methods are ongoing in drug technology chemistry to elicit effectiveness regarding the therapeutic activity of drugs along with photoprotection for their molecular integrity. The detrimental effect UV light induces damaged cells DNA, which leads skin cancer other phototoxic effects. application sunscreen shields is important, recommended filters. Avobenzone widely used as a UVA filter formulations. However, keto-enol tautomerism propagates photodegradation into it, further channelizes photoirradiation effects, limiting its use. approaches have been counter these issues, including encapsulation, antioxidants, photostabilizers, quenchers. To seek gold standard approach photosensitive drugs, combinations strategies implemented identify effective safe agents. stringent regulatory guidelines formulations, availability limited FDA-approved filters, led many researchers develop perfect photostabilization available photostable such avobenzone. From this perspective, objective current review summarize recent literature on delivery avobenzone that could be useful frame industrially oriented potential large scale circumvent all possible photounstable issues

As adjuvants or antigens, bacterial membranes have been widely used in recent antibacterial and antitumor research, but they are often injected multiple times to achieve therapeutic outcomes, with limitations biosafety clinical application. Herein, we leverage the biocompatibility immune activation capacity of Salmonella strain VNP20009 produce double-layered membrane vesicles (DMVs) for enhanced systemic safety immunity. Considering photothermal effect polydopamine upon irradiation, VNP20009-derived DMVs prepared coat surface mesoporous (MPD) nanoparticles, leading potential synergies between therapy mediated by MPD immunotherapy magnified DMVs. The single dose MPD@DMV can passively target tumors activate system upregulated T cell infiltration secretion levels pro-inflammatory factors as well related cytokines. All these promoted responses result malignant melanoma tumor regression extended survival time on local distant tumor-bearing mouse models. Importantly, further explore advantages intravenous injection agent compared its intratumoral injection, former demonstrates better long-term effects animal bodies. Overall, this formulation design brings broader prospects autologous vaccine adjuvant cancer therapy.

The article is divided into several sections, focusing on extracellular vesicles’ (EVs) nature, features, commonly employed methodologies and strategies for their isolation/preparation, characterization/visualization. This work aims to give an overview of advances in EVs’ extensive nanomedical-drug delivery applications. Furthermore, considerations EVs translation clinical application are summarized here, before the review a special kind vesicles, ones derived from red blood cells (RBCEVs). Generally, employing as drug carriers means managing entities with advantageous properties over synthetic vehicles or nanoparticles. Besides fact that certain also reveal intrinsic therapeutic characteristics, regenerative medicine, nanosize, lipidomic proteomic profiles enable them pass biologic barriers display cell/tissue tropisms; indeed, engineering can further optimize organ targeting. In second part review, we focus our attention RBCEVs. First, describe biogenesis composition those naturally produced by (RBCs) under physiological pathological conditions. Afterwards, discuss current procedures isolate and/or produce RBCEVs lab load specific cargo exploitation. Finally, disclose most recent applications at vitro preclinical research level potential industrial conclusion, be, near future, very promising versatile platform pharmaceutical exploitations.
