As a common pharmaceutical plant, Angelica sinensis (called Danggui (DG) in Chinese) is widely used food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics frequently processed with rice wine. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development envisions a rational use of energy and resources in all technological processes. Therefore, sustainable method (enzyme ultrasonic co-assisted aqueous two-phase extraction, EUA-ATPE) simultaneous separation ferulic acid ligustilide Angelicae Sinensis Radix (ASR) was developed by integrating enzyme-assisted (EAE) with ultrasonic-assisted (UAE- ATPE). effects different enzymes, temperature, pH, time, liquid-to-materials ratio, etc., were optimized single-factor experiments central composite design (CCD). Under the guidance of a bioactivity-guided approach and HSQC characteristic signals, nine pairs phthalic dimers, angesilides A-I (1-9), with complex polycyclic skeletons featuring bridged, fused, spiro ring systems were discovered from rhizomes Angelica sinensis. Moreover, anti-inflammatory activities all isolates evaluated in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulated mouse leukemia cells monocyte macrophages (RAW = 264.7). Among them, compound 9 showed remarkable inhibitory activity IC50 values 425 nM could significantly decrease IL-1β IL-6 transcription levels. Interestingly, (+)-9 has superior NO compared to that (-)-9, which verified further molecular docking analysis. Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels, a member of the Umbelliferae family, is commonly known as Danggui (Angelica sinensis, AS). AS has functions blood tonic, menstrual pain relief, and laxatives. Accurate classification grades crucial for efficient market management consumer health. The used method to classify depends on evaluator’s observation experience. However, this issues such unquantifiable parameters inconsistent identification results among different evaluators, resulting in relatively chaotic market. To address these issues, study introduced computer vision-based approach intelligently grade AS. Images at five were acquired, denoised, segmented, followed by extraction shape, color, texture features. Thirteen feature selected based difference correlation analysis, including tail area, whole body head diameter, G average, B R variances, skewness, S V which exhibited significant differences correlated with grades. These then train test both traditional back propagation neural network (BPNN) BPNN model improved growing optimizer (GOBPNN). Results showed that GOBPNN achieved significantly higher average testing precision, recall, F-score, accuracy (97.1%, 95.9%, 96.5%, 95.0%, respectively) compared model. combining machine vision technology enabled efficient, objective, rapid, non-destructive, cost effective grading.
