Abstract
A
novel
and
efficient
visible-light-induced
method
is
developed
for
the
one-pot
synthesis
of
functionalized
2-aminothiazoles
from
easily
accessible
active
methylene
ketone
derivatives
different
thioureas
at
room
temperature.
The
mild
reaction
conditions,
green
chemistry,
straightforward
work-up,
high
yields
products
make
this
procedure
useful
construction
2-aminothiazole
derivatives.

A
new
strategy
for
the
preparation
of
3-halobenzo[b]thiophenes
via
a
photo-driven
halocyclization/demethylation
2-alkynylthioanisoles
with
simple
alkyl
halides
was
developed.
The
reaction
can
proceed
smoothly
at
room
temperature
under
visible-light
irradiation
without
any
external
photocatalyst,
and
protocol
has
range
advantages,
including
simplicity
mildness
conditions,
good
functional-group
tolerance,
excellent
yields
products.

A
direct,
aerobic
and
visible
light
photocatalytic
approach
to
synthesize
4-thiocyanated
5-hydroxy-1H-pyrazoles
via
cross-coupling
of
pyrazolin-5-ones
with
ammonium
thiocyanate
is
described.
Under
redox-neutral
metal-free
conditions,
a
series
could
be
easily
efficiently
obtained
in
good
high
yields
by
using
low-toxicity
inexpensive
as
the
source.

Abstract
