Recently, due to energy shortages and environmental pollution caused by the continued use of fossil fuels, there is a growing need for renewable sources replace fuels. ZIF-67 has porous structure, large surface area, high thermal chemical stability, narrow band gap, so it highly useful as photocatalyst. In this study, CoM-ZIF/CdS photocatalyst based was synthesized using precipitation method synthesis with four different substances: Ni, Zn, Sn, Cu. Field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed that leaf-like particles are formed, dispersive X-ray spectrometer confirmed CdS exists on surface, further evidenced diffractometer analysis. The wurtzite found in optimized sample considered source higher photocatalytic activity. photoelectron spectroscopy detects all elements included photocatalyst, prominent peaks Cd S surface. UV-vis used analyze light absorbance. gap changed various transition metals because metal alters level conduction band. CoNi-ZIF/CdS exhibited highest hydrogen production rate 1192.9 µmol/g/h, reproducibility. heterojunction between Co-ZIF reduces recombination. conclusion, results an efficient charge separation mechanism.

In this study, new composite materials comprising zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) structures and microchannel glass (MCG) plates were fabricated using the hydrothermal method their morphological spectral properties investigated XRD, SEM, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy. XRD studies of powder samples revealed presence an additional phase for a ZIF-8 sample, whereas ZIF-67 samples, which prepared through two different chemical routes, showed no phases. A detailed analysis FTIR micro-Raman spectra formation stable ZIF inside macropores MCG substrate. The hydrophilic nature substrate its interaction with structure resulted in ZIF-MCG composites. We believe that these may find wide range important applications field sensors, molecular sieving.

Zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67), carbon nanoparticles (CNPs), and the CNPs@ZIF-67 composite were prepared used to fabricate sensors for detection of acetone vapour. The materials characterized using transmission electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. tested an LCR meter under resistance parameter. It was found that ZIF-67 sensor did not respond at room temperature, CNP had a non-linear response all analytes, CNPs/ZIF-67 excellent linear vapour less sensitive 3-pentanone, 4-methyl-1-hexene, toluene cyclohexane vapours. However, it improves soot sensitivity by 155 times, wherein soot@ZIF-67 on be 0.0004 0.062 respectively. In addition, insensitive humidity limit 484 ppb temperature.

In this study, a novel hydroxyapatite (HAp)‐based composite, Co‐Cu/ZIF@HAp, was constructed through in situ growth and simultaneous sonication followed by magnetic string. Herein, the HAp‐based nanocomposite obtained which HAp coated with cobalt–copper bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) one‐pot synthesis method. The as‐synthesized composite characterized PXRD, FTIR, FE‐SEM, EDS, HR‐TEM, TGA‐DTG, XPS, BET, UV‐DRS techniques, suggested that well ZIF. prepared utilized as catalyst degradation of organic pollutants. Removal pollutants such dyes has become indispensable due to their higher stability, toxicity, mutagenic nature. Two commonly found dyes, namely, Eosin Yellow (EY) Brilliant Green (BG), were chosen for investigation photocatalytic activity as‐prepared catalyst. process carried out under solar radiation, there no utilization any oxidizing reducing agent.
