A hollow catalyst bearing N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)–Fe species was synthesized using a microporous organic polymer (HMOP) as template. In the presence of HMOP, Friedel–Crafts reaction 1,3,5-tri(bromomethyl)benzene induced loading hypercrosslinked (HCP) onto HMOP. The resultant HMOP@HCP material benzyl bromide groups could be further modified with N-methylimidazole to form imidazolium salt (HMOP@HCP-Im). use KOtBu, followed by Fe coordination, generated NHC–Fe (HMOP@HCP-Fe). HMOP@HCP-Fe showed superior catalytic performance nonhollow HCP-Fe in transesterification dimethyl furan 2,5-dicarboxylate diols, platforms polyurethane. addition, near-quantitative yields for five successive runs.

ABSTRACT The most critical challenges confronting humanity's future is climatic change, water scarcity, and the impending end of petroleum era are primarily driven by depletion fossil fuel reserves, rising global temperatures, rapid growth population. Bio‐resources have emerged as a promising alternative for reducing dependence on petroleum‐derived materials. Interestingly, plants microbes collectively account approximately 99% Earth's total living biomass. scientific interest in environmentally friendly sustainable materials based their compatibility, biodegradability, recyclability, benign behavior, natural‐source Airborne nano‐plastic pollution has become significant environmental concern, adding to existing posed pollution, micro‐plastics, other harmful contaminants that endanger both organisms ecosystems. This work explores replacement chemicals fuels with naturally derived biomass products, emphasizing free from fuels. Surfactants, a group of amphiphilic molecules (i.e. with hydrophobic(water insoluble) as well hydrophilic(water soluble) properties) can modulate interfacial tension.
