Abstract
We
report
the
synthesis
of
scandium
and
yttrium
halide
complexes
with
bidentate,
monoanionic
anilidophosphine
(PN)
ligands
general
formula

Attempts
to
functionalize
these
by
salt
metathesis
reaction
revealed
that
chlorido
are
quite
unreactive
precursors,
whereas
iodo
readily
engage
in
a
broad
variety
reactions.
