Given the growing urgency to address food security and environmental-preservation challenges, sustainable agriculture assumes undeniable global relevance. Furthermore, using renewable biomass as a base for nanopesticides offers an environmentally friendly solution, reducing dependence on nonrenewable resources promoting circular economy. This study examined use of lignocellulosic in formulating nanopesticides, highlighting their potential alternative conventional pesticides. By incorporating lignocellulose into controlled release nanosystems, researchers observed improved adhesion, stability, ability pesticides, significantly need reapplication risk environmental pollution. Plant essential oils and pesticides are commonly used methods for preventing controlling agricultural pests diseases. To address the challenges of volatility ultraviolet sensitivity avermectin (AVM), herein, microfibrillated cellulose anchored with ammonium molybdate (MFC-POM) was constructed via emulsion template method ion exchange process applied as carriers tea tree (TTO) AVM to protect active ingredients. The amount by anchoring molybdenum oxygen cluster ions into skeleton ∼29.54%. MFC-POM exhibited a relatively high loading capacity both TTO 52.23 42.12%, respectively. Meanwhile, TTO@MFC-POM possessed long-term sustained release behavior fitting logistic kinetics model held enhanced antibacterial activity compared pure MFC-POM. AVM@MFC-POM pH-responsive more under acidic alkaline conditions. Furthermore, presented remarkable light resistance half-life nearly 30 times longer. also represented superior wetting properties noticeable increase in liquid retention on cucumber foliar surfaces. retained insecticidal toxicity, provided trace nutrient element Mo, promoted germination plant growth, thus exhibiting good biological safety. Overall, could serve an effective carrier protecting ingredients improving their effectiveness disease pest control.
