In this paper, a new 0D Ag(I)‐based coordination polymer [Ag 2 (dib)(H L) ]( 1 ) is proposed as photocatalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of nitrofurantoin (NFT) under ultraviolet irradiation. The catalytic was analyzed by various methods such PXRD, SEM, FT‐IR, TGA, UV–vis, DRS, and electrochemical tests. experimental result shows that an n ‐type semiconductor, which can effectively catalyze photodegradation NFT Under optimal reaction conditions, rate 97.95% within 60 min when concentration 30 ppm. experiment free radical capture O ˙ − main active substance photodecomposition, possible mechanism proposed. This research will lay foundation polymers in field antibiotic degradation.

The porous materials known as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) stand out for their enormous surface area, adaptable pore size and shape, structural variety.
