Herein,
a
kind
of
newly
synthesized
cobalt-nitrogen
co-doped
carbon
dots
(Co,N-CDs)
with
dual
functional
properties
oxidase-like
activity
photoluminescence
property
could
oxidize
the
3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine
(TMB)
to
oxTMB
new
absorption
peak
at
653
nm.
In
addition,
it
was
found
that
performed
fluorescence-quenching
effect
on
Co,N-CDs
440
nm
attributed
FRET
(Fluorescence
resonance
energy
transfer).
Reductive
GA
reduce
TMB,
weaken
blue
color,
restore
fluorescence
Co,N-CDs.
Thus,
colorimetric
fluorometric
method
for
dual-mode
detection
established.
The
synthesis
dual-signal
probe
completed
single
environmental
precursor
just
one
step.
Simultaneously,
reduced
limits,
broadened
linear
range
improved
anti-interference
ability.
This
exhibited
satisfactory
application
prospect
actual
tea
beverages.

Hydrogen
peroxide
(H2O2)
and
glutathione
(GSH)
have
been
reported
to
be
associated
with
a
variety
of
diseases.
Therefore,
the
accurate
rapid
determination
H2O2
GSH
was
very
important.

traditional
assay
colorimetric
method,
which
suffered
from
bottleneck
single-mode
analysis.

this
work,
we
designed
dual-mode
fluorescence
sensor
for
detecting
based
on
bifunctional
Fe,
Co-CDs,
possessed
peroxidase
(POD)-mimetic
activity
property.
Concretely,
Co-CDs
catalyzed
oxidation
3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine
(TMB)
blue
product
(oxTMB)
help
H2O2,
could
inhibited
by
GSH.
Meanwhile,
weakened
increasing
oxTMB,
realizing
analysis
sensors,
detection
limit
(LOD)
reach
as
low
0.54
μM
0.81
μM,
well
LOD
0.39
0.61
respectively.
Besides,
smartphone-assisted
hydrogel
developed
on-site
via
color
change.
This
study
not
only
dual-target
but
also
provided
insights
further
exploration
multifunctional
nanozymes.

Abstract
Background
Ulcerative
colitis
(UC)
is
a
chronic
intestinal
inflammation,
resulting
in
global
healthcare
challenge
with
no
real
specific
medicine.
Natural
medicines
are
recognized
as
potential
clinical
alternative
therapy,
but
their
applications
limited
by
poor
solubility
and
low
bioavailability.
Results
In
this
work,
inspired
the
natural
of
ancient
China,
novel
functional
carbon
dots
derived
from
Magnetite
Medicated
Leaven
(MML-CDs)
were
synthesized
hydrothermal
method,
confirmed
ultrasmall
nano-size
(3.2
±
0.6
nm)
Fe
doped
surface
structure,
thereby
excellent
gastrointestinal
stability,
remarkable
capabilities
eliminating
ROS,
highly
biocompatibility.
With
external
stimuli,
oral
administration
MML-CDs
demonstrated
obvious
alleviation
to
UC.
Further
experiments
pointed
that
could
improve
hemostasis
capability,
suppress
inflammation
reactions
oxidative
stress,
up-regulate
expression
tight
junction
proteins.
Furthermore,
also
showed
well
regulation
dysbiosis
flora.
Conclusion
Overall,
above
evidence
reveals
green-synthesized
can
significantly
alleviate
bleeding,
inhibit
colon
repair
colonic
barrier
damage,
further
regulating
flora
microenvironment.
Our
findings
provide
an
efficient
therapy
strategy
for
ulcerative
colitis.
