Asthma
and
allergic
rhinitis
(AR)
stand
as
prevalent
chronic
ailments
impacting
children
within
the
United
States.
It
is
approximated
that
many
40%
of
American
exhibit
symptoms
indicative
AR,
a
condition
which,
if
inadequately
managed,
could
potentially
lead
to
onset
additional
illnesses
such
asthma,
rhinosinusitis,
conjunctivitis,
otitis
media.
We
have
devised
universal
synthetic
pathway
encapsulate
small
molecules
montelukast
sodium
Metal–Organic
Frameworks
(MOFs)
for
treatment
asthma
AR.
Two
distinct
Cu-MOFs,
namely
single
linker
mixed
MOFs,
were
synthesized
through
solvothermal
method
utilizing
1,4-benzenedioic
acid
(BDC)
4,4′-dipyridile
linkers.
The
Cu-MOFs
underwent
thorough
examination
employing
various
analytical
techniques
including
BET,
SEM,
FTIR,
PXRD.
These
MOFs
hold
promise
potential
vehicles
drug
delivery
applications.
Various
proportions
Cu-MOF-1
Cu-MOF-2
dispersed
alongside
sodium.
Notably,
1:1
ratio
both
exhibited
enhanced
absorption
compared
other
ratios.
Furthermore,
demonstrated
superior
overall
when
contrasted
with
Cu-MOF-1.
This
investigation
also
delves
into
release
dynamics
from
different
ratios
drug.

in
phosphate-buffered
saline
(PBS)
solution
pH
7.4,
absorbance
values
measured
using
UV-visible
spectrometer
at
time
intervals.
