Abstract
The
growing
global
population
and
rising
demand
for
pharmaceuticals
highlight
the
need
efficient
drug
synthesis
detection
methods.
This
study
presents
a
bifunctional
imidazole‐functionalized
Hf(IV)‐based
metal–organic
framework
(MOF),

as
heterogeneous
catalyst
synthesizing
1,4‐dihydropyridines
(1,4‐DHPs),
which
are
key
moieties
in
of
drugs
used
cardiovascular
treatments.
solvent‐free
activated
form
,
labeled
1′
catalyzes
both
Biginelli
Hantzsch
reactions
under
mild
conditions.

aldehyde,
ethyl
acetoacetate,
urea
proceeded
at
80
°C
