Abstract The growing global population and rising demand for pharmaceuticals highlight the need efficient drug synthesis detection methods. This study presents a bifunctional imidazole‐functionalized Hf(IV)‐based metal–organic framework (MOF), 1 as heterogeneous catalyst synthesizing 1,4‐dihydropyridines (1,4‐DHPs), which are key moieties in of drugs used cardiovascular treatments. solvent‐free activated form , labeled 1′ catalyzes both Biginelli Hantzsch reactions under mild conditions. reaction using aldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate, urea proceeded at 80 °C 0.5 h with 99% yield, while ammonium acetate occurred room temperature ethanol within h, also achieving yield. Compound showed broad substrate compatibility reactions. Additionally, MOF exhibited excellent sensing ability anticancer raloxifene (RLX), showing fast turn‐off fluorescence response (within 5 s), low limit (9 nM), high Stern–Volmer constant (K sv 2 × 10 6 M⁻¹), enabling sensitive diverse environments, including wastewater biofluids. Detailed investigations into catalytic mechanisms capabilities provide valuable insights advancing analytical methodologies. provides demonstrating its potential advanced pharmaceutical real‐time monitoring.

Coordination polymers (CPs) have emerged as pioneering compounds due to their diverse structural features and tunable properties. Numerous advantages, along with thermal chemical stability, make CPs promising materials for various applications, preferably in catalysis. Herein, four [Co(4-ABPT)(HPA)(H2O)], SSICG-8; [Co(4-ABPT)(HPA)(H2O)]·4H2O, SSICG-9; [Co(BPY)(HPA)(H2O)(CH3OH)], SSICG-10; [Co(4-ABPT) (HHPA)2]·H2O, SSICG-16 (SSICG stands solid-state inorganic chemistry group, 4-ABPT = 3,5-di(pyridine-4-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine, H2HPA homophthalic acid, BPY 4,4′-bipyridine) been synthesized via the hydrothermal synthetic methodology. SSICG-8 showcases a 4,4-net topology Schläfli symbol of 44.62, while SSICG-10 displays 3,3-net topology. we tuned catalytic performance by tuning Lewis acidic open metal sites (OMSs), basic sites, porosity compounds. Activated SSICG-9 (OMSs) free amine pyridyl groups. The presence high-density OMSs, groups, makes an efficient catalyst, whereas lacks porosity, OMSs. These were clearly visible observed efficiency order < SSICG-9. most SSICG-9, was employed synthesize Nemadipine B (1,4-dihydropyridine-based drug) 95% yield at 60 °C, using only 1.5 mol % within 4 h ethanol. This study presents systematic strategy synthesizing coordination showcasing efficacy catalysis under mild environmentally friendly conditions.
