Urban economic development benefits from industrial agglomeration by enhancing efficiency, but it may also bring negative effects, such as environmental pollution. This research uses data 283 Chinese cities 2007 to 2019, and applies the Spatial Durbin Model investigate spatial effects of on carbon emission along with its impact mechanisms at various stages collaborative between manufacturing service sectors. The results indicate that: (1) upgrading industry consumption-oriented production-oriented has proved be conducive efficiency alleviating problems associated agglomeration. Assessing the impact of new-type urbanization (NTU) on green technological innovation reveals how effectively policy fosters sustainable growth and advancement. The widespread integration of robots has raised apprehensions about their influence on labourlabour welfare. Utilizing data from the China Labor-force Dynamic Survey (CLDS) spanning 2014 to 2018 and robot International Federation Robotics (IFR), we explore workers' health associated mechanisms. Contrary prevalent societal concerns, our study reveals that utilization substantially enhances worker health. Mechanistic tests demonstrate effectiveness in enhancing through task reallocation improvements work environment. Heterogeneity analysis indicates advantages may particularly benefit vulnerable groups, including those with physically demanding jobs, low-skilled workers, migrant populations.
