Success in EFL/ESL contexts by teachers requires developing some essential characteristics consisting of several interacting variables and underlying constructs. With the rise positive psychology, concepts resilience emotion regulation their roles milieu have caught attention. In this line, present study aims to investigate whether there would be any relationship among EFL teachers' resilience, regulation, success Chinese context. addition, we tried examine predictive power toward success. To that end, an online Likert scale questionnaire including items on teaching was distributed 323 teachers. The participants were selected based convenience sampling. Spearman Rho correlation index multiple regression analysis along with ANOVA used analyze collected data. findings showed a direct Furthermore, it indicated more powerful terms predicting than regulation. Our imply teacher education programs can enhance through training strategies skills.

Teacher-student interactions and proximity have been shown influential in second/foreign (L2) education. However, the role of L2 teachers' immediacy behaviors on students' willingness to communicate (WTC) academic engagement remains relatively unexamined context English as a foreign language (EFL).This study intended examine association among EFL WTC engagement.In this quantitative study, three online questionnaires were completed by 400 Chinese students different universities out which 364 valid.The results statistical analysis structural equation modeling (SEM) indicated that (verbal, nonverbal) had highly significant influence (ß=0.89, p = .000) (ß=0.71, .000). It was also revealed could predict 89% 71% variances engagement, respectively.Based results, I be concluded interpersonal communication abilities (e.g., immediacy) foster establishment growth other positive outcomes learners.The presents some conclusions practical implications for teachers, materials developers, trainers integrate nonverbal cues into their practices. Recently, researchers have focused on various factors influencing work engagement, particularly in the EFL context. In this vein, study was carried out to investigate relationship among proactive personality, flow, and engagement China. so doing, three instruments including Proactive Personality Scale, Work-Related Flow Inventory (WOLF), Work Well-Being Survey (UWES) were used. Teaching is deemed a taxing enterprise, especially as far higher education concerned. As result, much research attention has been showered upon exploring the correlates of engagement for instructors. To contribute to this direction, present researchers carried out survey test model work in Chinese context. Teacher self-efficacy and resilience were added predictors hypothesized model. A number 372 English foreign language (EFL) instructors contexts selected through convenience sampling. The measurement models latent variables (i.e., self-efficacy, resilience, engagement) confirmed via running Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Afterward, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used structural results obtained from analyses showed that both teacher could significantly predict EFL teachers’ engagement, with serving stronger predictor than resilience. outcomes suggest some implications stakeholders such teachers, trainers, policy makers, officials.

Teaching satisfaction and resilience play important roles in the education field, but most research focuses on higher education, with few scholars studying their impact language teaching within context of middle school education. In this sense, study employs a mixed-methods design, selecting 375 Chinese English teachers to investigate relationship between self-efficacy teachers' well-being. A structural equation modeling approach NVivo were utilized analyze quantitative data qualitative data, respectively. This mixed-methods cross-cultural study examined the role of instructor confirmation and care in EFL students’ willingness to attend classes (WTAC). For quantitative phase, 1006 605 university students were chosen respectively from Chinese Iranian universities, for qualitative sub-groups 43 34 participants selected. Three close-ended scales semi-structured interviews used collect data. English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) learning is essential for Chinese senior high school students, but burnout can impair their engagement and performance. Resilience, however, enhance shield them from burnout. This mixed-methods study aimed to investigate the interplay between burnout, resilience, among 413 EFL learners. Using AMOS 24, quantitative analyses with structural equation modeling (SEM) revealed reciprocity these three constructs. Specifically, was negatively associated both resilience engagement, explaining 28.6% 33.3% of shared variance respectively. Besides, were positively correlated, sharing 70.6% variance. Abstract With the rise of positive psychology (PP) in 1954 and its flowering last decade 20th century, focus psychological educational studies has shifted from examining negative health‐related outcomes to their counterparts. In line with this new research agenda, several L2 researchers have studied different predictors among language teachers. Few studies, however, been dedicated teachers' well‐being potential predictors. To bridge lacuna, current tried evaluate role emotion regulation resilience predicting Chinese EFL well‐being. This also strived find out whether perceived self‐efficacy could mediate interaction between well‐being, resilience. For purpose, 430 English teachers recruited classes were asked respond four closed‐ended questionnaires. The analysis exhibited strong associations resilience, results divulged that be meaningfully predicted by ability Additionally, indicated association significantly mediated beliefs.
