Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a prevalent mental health condition characterized by excessive worry and anxiety, often impairing daily functioning quality of life. The occurrence Anxiety Disorder higher in females than males. Traditional approaches to diagnosing managing GAD rely heavily on subjective assessments, including self-report questionnaires clinician evaluations, resource-intensive therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) medication. However, recent advancements artificial intelligence (AI) have opened new innovative avenues for enhancing healthcare delivery. AI-driven tools, machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), wearable sensors, offer promising solutions the early accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment, remote monitoring patients with GAD. AI technologies enable analysis speech, text, physiological data detect symptoms remarkable precision, allowing earlier more clinical assessments. Furthermore, AI-powered chatbots, virtual reality therapies, digital platforms provide scalable cost-effective treatment options, improving accessibility services, especially underserved or rural areas. Despite these benefits, integration care faces several challenges, concerns about privacy, algorithmic biases, ethical considerations regarding replacement human therapists. This review explores applications GAD, emphasizing its potential transform practices. Key findings from literature highlight AI’s ability increase diagnostic accuracy, improve efficiency, patient engagement, whereas future research must address regulatory, implementation, barriers fully realize impact care.
