New parenthood in ordinary times can be a vulnerable and unpredictable time. The Covid-19 pandemic brought additional, unprecedented changes to policy practice that drastically impacted on the experiences of parents. This study aimed enhance our understanding new parents during by qualitatively analysing their experiences. from UK (N = 303; female 296; male 7) responded survey conducted between 2021-2022 asking about pregnancy, birth postnatal period. Responses were analysed thematically, taking an interpretivist approach, drawing across three time periods. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented significant challenges to mental health worldwide, exacerbating symptoms across various populations. This meta-analysis aims evaluate the relationship between social support and symptoms, specifically depression, general anxiety, stress, during pandemic. We conducted a comprehensive literature search that identified 210 studies involving total of 216,104 participants. Data were analyzed using robust variance estimation with random effects assess correlations while also examining potential moderating factors such as age, gender, sample types. Our analysis revealed negative correlation overall ( r = −0.259; 95% CI: −0.29, −0.24; p < 0.01). Notably, high-risk populations exhibited stronger association −0.302) compared students −0.263) population −0.219). Psychological distress can manifest as depression, anxiety, and anger in the perinatal period. These conditions are often comorbid yet studied isolation. Prenatal psychological distress is prevalent during pregnancy. This study aimed to estimate the associations among fear of childbirth, resilience and distress.A total 1,060 Chinese pregnant women were enrolled from Be Resilient Postpartum Depression (ChiCTR2100048465) following instruments administered them: Childbirth Attitudes Questionnaire, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Perceived Social Support General Self-Efficacy Adverse Childhood Experience scale Hospital Anxiety Scale. Abstract Background The negative impact of adverse perinatal mental health extends beyond the mother and child; therefore, it is essential to make an early intervention for management illness during pregnancy. Resilience-building interventions are demonstrated reduce depression anxiety among expectant mothers, yet research in this field limited. This study aims examine effect ‘Safe Motherhood—Accessible Resilience Training (SM-ART)’ on resilience, marital adjustment, depression, pregnancy-related a sample pregnant women Karachi, Pakistan. Method In single-blinded block randomized controlled study, 200 were recruited randomly assigned either or control group using computer-generated randomization opaque sealed envelopes. received SM-ART consisting six, weekly sessions ranging from 60 90 min. Outcomes (Resilience, harmony) assessed through validated instruments at baseline after six weeks both groups. Gender disparity poses a prominent obstacle to achieving effective mental health outcomes in digital healthcare. Despite women being more inclined use apps and seeking designs tailored their specific needs, there is limited research on the factors influencing female users’ engagement with these apps. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated its disproportionate impact women’s health. This study investigates posts (n = 5538) about during pandemic, using data collected via Python web crawler from Xiaohongshu, popular female-centric social media platform China. A mixed-methods approach used qualitative thematic analysis quantitative descriptive statistics.
