The coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 pandemic was expected to be particularly detrimental for performing artists, given the nature of their work. scarce literature on precarity experiences performers following COVID-19 has predominantly focused Western and Central Europe. present article contributes by investigating experience Romanian before after outbreak through in-depth semi-structured interviews. Romania is a valuable case study, its peculiarities in terms cultural policy. After fall communism, policy characterised constant dominant strategic focus (mostly religious) heritage, while funding model smaller independent artists organisations. By focusing it, study shows that research needs embedded local (cultural) context, as it shapes artists. Without proper understanding will likely fail offer effective recommendations.

Purpose In the following theoretical article, author generates a theory of Leadership Pedagogy and its connection to Creative Arts Education. Similar to a number of arts and cultural sector industries, the COVID-19 pandemic deeply affected performing sector. Whilst research has focused on impact industry freelance workers artists during lockdowns, this article investigates how resilience permanently employed in (not performers or artists) based England, UK as re-opened 2021/22. Utilising qualitative approach (via semi-structured interviews), paper establishes factors that these England explores effect COVID-19-related closures subsequent re-openings workers. The study finds participants reported maladaptive coping behaviours rather than described discomfort at having be personally resilient absence organisational resilience.

Recently, cultural crowdfunding has emerged as a prominent funding mechanism, enabling the efficient collection of micro-donations from supporters. Despite its growing significance, research on remains limited.
