Although
the

benefits

purpose
are
increasingly
recognized,
there
is
more
to
learn
about
how
and
why
in
later
life.
Forty
older
adults
(aged
68–96
years)
living
within
South
Australian
community
participated
a
face-to-face
interview
further
existing
understanding

Conversations
with

that

interviewed

single
perception,
definition
or
experience
purpose.

thematic
analysis
four
categories
emerged.
