Individuals with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) are more susceptible to experiencing severe complications of COVID-19 if infected. Nevertheless, sub-optimal immunization rates have been reported among these patients. Our study aims assess VH a global population patients IBD and investigate the role healthcare professionals, particularly gastroenterologists, in promoting immunization. Twenty-six studies were systematically selected from scientific articles MEDLINE/PubMed, WoK, Scopus databases January 1, 2020, September 15, 2023. The pooled prevalence was 27.2% (95%CI = 20.6-34.2%). A significant relationship evidenced between vaccine compliance receiving advice gastroenterologists or providers (OR 2.77; 95%CI 1.79-4.30). By leveraging their knowledge IBD, familiarity patient histories, trusted patient-doctor relationships, pivotal vaccination. This patient-centered care is crucial increasing acceptance individuals contributing better public health outcomes.

Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic, affecting adults and children equally, has caused significant disruption to countries worldwide, including Saudi Arabia. In Arabia, the fast preventative measures mass vaccine enrollment were vital contain devastating impact of pandemic. However, hesitancy, especially among parents toward vaccinating their children, was a obstacle uptake. Methods This systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines assess parental willingness vaccinate against COVID-19, determine key determinants influencing such intention attitudes, underline concerns misconceptions regarding parents. Joanne Briggs Institute (JBI) checklist for prevalence studies used included risk bias. Results Twenty-three in this review, representing total 20,926 participants, with over 66% them female. Over 37% participants willing COVID-19. Parents’ age, gender, level education, income main children. parents’ potential side effects, safety, efficacy. Major about it being dangerous that are at lower severe infection; hence, vaccines not needed. Discussion seminal provides insights public health policymakers, which should be considered taken together light other addressing hesitancy.

Objective: The rate of COVID-19 vaccination hesitation among Iranian pregnant women is around 50%. objective the present study was to determine reasons for refusal and postpartum women. Materials methods: This descriptive cross-sectional performed on 304 in comprehensive health centers Yazd, Iran, between October 2022 April 2023. Researchers collected data unvaccinated through phone calls using a validated questionnaire. Data questionnaire consisting baseline characteristics refusing vaccination. Descriptive statistics were used analyze SPSS version 22. Results: mean age participating this 28.31 ± 6.47 years. most common vaccine included fear harming fetus (32.2%), side effects mother (25.7%), disbelief disease (13.8%), lack information about (12.8%), negative opinions media society (12.8%). Less husband's disagreement (8.2%), history infection (6.9%), gynecologists' (6.3%), infertility (5.9%), underlying (3.3%). Astonishingly, participants who did not inject booster dose vaccine, 76% reported they didn't receive any training recommendation injection from providers.
