Chronic endometritis (CE) is a persistent inflammatory condition of the endometrium characterized by abnormal infiltration plasma cells into endometrial stroma. Frequently associated with repeated implantation failure, recurrent pregnancy loss, and infertility, CE significantly impacts women's health, contributing to conditions such as uterine bleeding endometriosis. Treatment typically involves antibiotic therapy; however, efficacy these treatments increasingly compromised rise antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This paper examines critical links between AMR CE, proposing strategies enhance clinical management optimize treatment outcomes.

The gut-ovary axis involves a complex interplay of various physiological and molecular mechanisms, which significantly impact poultry production health. This study investigated the effects betaine (Bet) on laying hens in aged hens. A total 108 Hy-Line Brown hens, 500 days, were randomly divided into three groups (n = 36 per group) fed diets containing 0, 1000, 3000 mg/kg Bet (designated as CON, l-Bet, H-Bet, respectively) over 42-day trial. results indicated that dietary supplementation with improved performance. Specifically, H-Bet Supplementation increased villus height (VH) height/crypt depth ratio (VH/CD), up-regulated expression Claudin-1 jejunal ileal mucosa. Additionally, enhanced richness Bacteroidetes reduced Firmicutes/Bacterodietes ratio. LEfSe analysis revealed significant enrichment Eubacteriaceae, Merdibacter, Anaerorhabdus_furcosa_group, Syntrophococcus, Clostridium_innocuum_group group. Transcriptome sequencing small yellow follicles (SYFs) showed up-regulation ATP6 down-regulation EGR1. KEGG influenced oxidative phosphorylation, peroxisome, other pathways, GESA was primarily enriched MAPK signaling pathway. Furthermore, SOD, CAT, Nrf2, NQO-1, HO-1 jejunum, while only ileum. In ovary, differentially affected GPX, CAT expression. These demonstrate improves intestinal ovarian health likely due to antioxidant capacity morphology.

Ovarian aging significantly impacts women's overall aging, affecting various systems including the musculoskeletal system. This study investigates correlation between ovarian function and handgrip strength (HGS) across reproductive stages their relation to health-related quality of life (HRQoL). A cross-sectional was conducted with female participants spanning all function. HGS measured using a dynamometer, assessed via hormone levels (estradiol [E2], follicle stimulating [FSH], luteinizing [LH], prolactin [PRL], progesterone [P4] testosterone). HRQoL evaluated Sarcopenia-specific Quality Life questionnaire (SarQoL). Data analysis involved variance Pearson's correlations, adjusted for confounding factors. The prevalence possible sarcopenia increased from 3.8% in premenopausal women 10.3% postmenopausal women. After adjusting covariates (age, SarQoL, FSH, LH, FSH/LH ratio, PRL, E2, P4 testosterone), negative Kupperman Menopausal Index (KMI) no longer significant. However, positive SarQoL remained significant both population group. FSH after controlling age, KMI, LH E2; however, it persisted testosterone. is positively correlated negatively age population. No association found testosterone, or ratio. Further research needed clarify relationship KMI FSH.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder associated with reproductive and metabolic dysfunctions, including gut microbiome dysbiosis. This study aimed to examine the alterations in stemness ovarian surface epithelium (OSE), microRNA expression granulosa cells plasma dihydrotestosterone (DHT)-induced rat model of PCOS. Female rats were administered DHT induce PCOS, stem cell markers OSE was assessed evaluate impact on stemness. Alterations composition using 16S rRNA gene Long-Read sequencing changes profile analyzed qPCR. Our results demonstrated and, significant alteration DHT-induced compared controls, characterized by shifts relative abundance specific bacterial taxa, particularly Akkermansia muciniphila. Elevated levels miR-574 miR-378 observed plasma, whereas miR-21 showed increased cells. Concurrently, OSE, suggesting an enhancement response PCOS-like conditions. These findings imply potential link between dysbiosis that may contribute dysfunction through modulation activity. Understanding this interaction could provide novel insights into therapeutic targets restoring function PCOS patients.

Abstract Hyperuricemia (HUA) affects approximately 14% of the population, with a marked gender disparity showing lower incidence in females. While role gut microbiota HUA has been extensively studied males, its influence females remains unclear. This study recruited 623 participants, including 270 females, to explore this gap using 16S rDNA sequencing. We found that Roseburia was significantly enriched healthy and negatively correlated estrogen (E2) uric acid (UA) levels. Validation three published cohorts (256 samples) confirmed as critical genus for UA regulation. Mechanistically, positively xanthine‐glycine metabolic pathway, which may production These findings shed light on differences from perspective propose promising target probiotic‐based prevention

Noninvasive pharmacological strategies like nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) supplementation can effectively address age-related ovarian infertility by maintaining or enhancing oocyte quality and quantity. This study revealed that adenine dinucleotide levels decline with age, but NMN administration significantly restores these levels, preventing atrophy the quantity of ovulated oocytes. Improvements in serum hormone secretion antioxidant factors, along decreased expression proinflammatory were observed. Additionally, a significant increase number follicles aging individuals was noted. Scanning electron microscopy data indicated alters density morphology lipid droplets mitochondria granulosa cells, suggesting potential targets mechanisms. Transcriptomic analysis validation experiments collectively suggested beneficial effects on ovaries are mediated through enhanced mitochondrial function, improved energy metabolism, reduced inflammation levels. Our results suggest could improve health status enhance reserve, offering new insights into addressing fertility challenges older women assisted reproductive technology.

Background Evidence from observational studies and clinical trials suggests that the gut microbiota is associated with gynecological diseases. However, causal relationship between menstrual disorders remains to be determined. Methods We obtained summary data of global consortium MiBio-Gen’s genome-wide association study (GWAS) dataset on IEU Open GWAS project. MR-Egger, weighted median, inverse variance weighted, simple mode, mode were used examine disorders. Thorough sensitivity performed confirm data’s horizontal pleiotropy, heterogeneity, robustness. Results Through MR analysis 119 kinds 4 phenotypes, it was discovered 23 different loosely connected After FDR correction, results showed only Escherichia/Shigella ( p = 0.00032, P 0.0382, OR 1.004, 95%CI 1.002–1.006) related Conclusion According our Analysis, there are indications a microbiota.
