The life trajectories of transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) individuals vary greatly. While much research has focused on the experiences victimization suicide in this community, there is limited understanding agency strategies recovery processes used by survivors. defined as process developing strengths autonomy within a specific context one method coping with sexual prejudice. In case suicidal experiences, seen an outcome that allows for experiential reordering development new reasons living. A study analyzed journeys 13 young Chileans who have chosen to undergo gender-affirming treatments. was based situated knowledge narrative production. results revealed various forms agency, such self-determination, validation gender expression, strengthening physical autonomy. terms from emergence self-acceptance, purposes, sense belonging, formation meaningful bonds, TGD activism observed. emphasizes need shift paths youth, focusing intersectional analysis.
