In
order
to
discriminate
between
detrimental,
commensal,
and
beneficial
microbes,
plants
rely
on
polysaccharides
such
as
β-glucans,
which
are
integral
components
of
microbial
plant
cell
walls.
The
conversion
wall-associated
β-glucan
polymers
into
a
specific
outcome
that
affects
plant-microbe
interactions
is
mediated
by
hydrolytic
non-hydrolytic
β-glucan-binding
proteins.
These
proteins
play
crucial
roles
during
colonization:
they
influence
the
composition
resilience
host
walls,
regulate
homeostasis
apoplastic
concentrations
oligomers,
mediate
perception
signaling.
This
review
outlines
dual
β-glucans
their
binding
in
immunity
symbiosis,
highlighting
recent
discoveries
role
modulators
symbiosis
receptors
involved
fine-tuning
accommodation.

We
have
explored
the
diversity
Arabidopsis
thaliana
seedlings

PTI
responses

different
oligosaccharides
polysaccharides.

glucuronoxylans
α-1,4-glucans,

Assessing
the
number
of
glucan
chains
in
cellulose
microfibrils
(CMFs)
is
crucial
for
understanding
their
structure-property
relationships
and
interactions
within
plant
cell
walls.

into

multiple
plant
biosynthetic

another.
The

unknown,
but
recent
research
has
highlighted
extensive
examples
of
protein-protein
interactions,
specifically
the
cell
wall
hemicellulose
pectin
biosynthesis

review,
we
will
discuss
what

known
so
far
about

glycosyltransferases

intake
of
dietary
fiber
from
staple
foods
is
a
key
strategy
to
improve
health
consumers.
