Abstract
Human
societies
depend
on
services
provided
by
ecosystems,
from
local
needs
such
as
clean
water
and
pest
control
to
global
like
the
ozone
layer
ocean
biological
pump.
Ecosystem
are
linked
states
of
ecosystem,
which
are,
in
turn,
governed
a
web
ecological
interactions.
These
interactions,
along
with
they
support,
under
threat
environmental
changes
driven
human
activities.
Therefore,
safeguarding
these
vital
requires
an
understanding
how
structure
dynamics
interactions
affected
change.
A
critical
step
towards
this
goal
is
development
theoretical
framework
that
can
elucidate
ecosystem

ecosystems

environments.
Recent

have

Anthropocene
is

Despite
the
increasing
volume
of
research
exploring
impact
various
characteristics
urban
green
spaces
(UGS)
on
land
surface
temperature
(LST),
findings
remain
inconsistent,
particularly
in
arid
climatic
zones.
In
this
research,
we
examined
UGS
change
and
their
analyzed
relationship
between
pertinent
variables
vegetation
biomass,
area,
shape
patches
LST
Karaj
city,
an
Iranian
semi-arid
area
2000
2020.
Linear
regressions
were
used
to
model
patches’
LST.
The
results
showed
that
biomass
was
more
effective
reducing
comparison
with
complexity.
Moreover,
larger
higher
complexity
lower
temperatures.
These
can
guide
landscape
optimization
by
providing
a
clear
understanding
which
factors
contribute
most
significantly
mitigation
areas.

areas

as
