Sebaceous free fatty acids are metabolized by multiple skin microbes into bioactive lipid mediators termed oxylipins. To identify biomarkers and pathways to Type-2 diabetes (T2D), a major global disease, we completed array-based epigenome-wide association in whole blood 5,709 Asian people. Abstract Precision medicine (PM) research in recent years has witnessed a remarkable surge large-scale population genomics programs. In 2017, Singapore initiated the National Medicine (NPM) program, three-phase national strategy driving PM research, innovation, and enterprise capitalizing on Singapore’s unique multi-ancestral Asian population. Coordinated by Health Research, (PRECISE), NPM Phase I assembled an reference genome of 10,000 individuals completed using highly manual laborious laboratory sample workflows. II, targeting 100,000 cohort (PRECISE-SG100K), required transformation sequencing workflow to production-scale operation leveraging high-throughput automation robotics.
