Cancer
is
a
multistep
disease
driven
by
the
activation
of
specific
oncogenic
pathways
concomitantly
with
loss
function
tumor
suppressor
genes
that
act
as
sentinels
to
control
physiological
growth.
The
conservation

signaling

Drosophila,
and
ability
easily
manipulate
them
genetically,
has
made
fruit
fly
useful
model
organism
study
cancer
biology.

review
we
outline
basic
mechanisms

between
humans

uncontrolled

development.
