Leveraging social media for trade construction contractors’ success: issues and measures from a qualitative perspective

Digital competence of Vietnamese citizens: An application of digcomp framework and the role of individual factors

Abstract Assessment of digital competence for citizens could support the Education Action plan at a national level, regional or even global level to enhance skills and gap work life transformation. This study applies DigComp framework through self-administered online survey 723 in Vietnam, using sequential exploratory mixed methods research design. Data were analysed factor analysis, standard descriptive statistics, simple regression methods, followed by qualitative content analysis from interviews with ten respondents focus group discussion eight stakeholders on competence. The results confirmed validity measuring Vietnamese citizens. Overall, proficiency surveyed falls between basic intermediate levels, being more advanced areas information data literacy communication collaboration, compared creation, safety, problem solving. further showed that male higher education working public sector, living province high provincial transformation index rankings perceived themselves be competent than females lower educational private low rankings.
