Abstract This study examines the moderated mediation model grounded in natural resource‐based view (NRBV) theory, evaluating influence of green entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) on competitive advantage (GCA) Pakistani manufacturing firms. It emphasises mediating role innovation (GI) and conditional impact absorptive capacity (GAC). The used hierarchical regression analyses a dataset consisting 373 responses. results reveal that GEO significantly influences GCA, with both radical incremental GI (IGI) partially this relationship. Moreover, relationship between GEO, (RGI), GCA is strengthened when GAC high. effects RGI more pronounced These findings provide valuable insights into enhancing competitiveness by promoting eco‐innovation companies advancing entrepreneurship research.

To establish a Circular Supply Chain, companies must instigate transformative changes at the supply chain level, engaging various stakeholders both within and beyond their organisational boundaries. However, existing literature lacks successful examples of implementing circular economy principles practical guidance on strategies they should employ to effectively coordinate resources capabilities for Sustainability-Oriented Innovation Chains. address these gaps, this study conducts longitudinal field with embedded cases, focusing sustainable fashion company as main unit analysis 27 initiatives sub-units analysis. The investigation delves into Resource Orchestration mechanisms employed successfully implement four types (i.e., B2C collections, B2B partnerships, Service Social Impact projects). results provide valuable insights practices conducive achieving triple-bottom-line outcomes introduce novel process model in Small-Medium Enterprises. Ultimately, findings underscore significance tailoring different initiatives. Purpose This study investigates the interaction between organizational strategic factors (Leadership and management support [LMS] green learning orientation [GLO]) innovation performance (GIP), through lens of resource-based view (RBV) theory. It examines both direct indirect impacts these on GIP via knowledge (GKM), explores how absorptive capacity (GAC) enhances relationships. Design/methodology/approach Using Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) moderated mediation analysis, we analyzed responses from 419 individuals across 154 manufacturing firms in Pakistan to understand dynamics. Findings Results show that LMS GLO significantly affect GIP, directly indirectly, GKM. Furthermore, GAC intensifies impact GKM influence indicating a effect. Practical implications Highlighting importance LMS, GLO, GKM, GAC, suggests focusing areas can help align their strategies with sustainability goals, enhancing GIP. These insights guide policymakers creating supportive for businesses improve facilitating better adoption application. Originality/value The research contributes RBV theory by clarifying role within firms, offering clearer path achieving goals.

Purpose Considering the importance of green knowledge in firms' sustainability, this study investigates mediating mechanism acquisition (GKA) and moderating role resource orchestration capability (ROC) relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) corporate sustainable performance (CSP). Design/methodology/approach Using a sample 388 executives from 195 small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) UAE, used partial least squares structural equation modelling to examine proposed relationships among constructs. Findings The research shows that GEO affects CSP's environmental, economic, social aspects CSP. This also highlights GKA moderated mediation analysis results indicate when ROC is elevated, GEO's indirect influence on environmental economic through more pronounced. Practical implications provides useful insights novel approach for manufacturing industries authoritative bodies alleviate deterioration improve CSP by encouraging entrepreneurship. Purpose Amidst the challenges of globalisation and rapid technological advancements, small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing sector are increasingly adopting smart practices. Manufacturing SMEs Malaysia encounter difficulties ensuring sustainability performance maintaining green ambidexterity innovation (GAI), constrained by limited resources other barriers. However, academic exploration these remains limited, particularly within context Malaysian SMEs. Thus, based on natural-resource-based view (NRBV), contingency theory (CT) paradigm, goal this study is to examine influence entrepreneurship orientation (GEO) corporate (CGP) with mediation GAI moderation turbulence (GTT) Design/methodology/approach This follows a quantitative method, positivism cross-sectional time horizon structured questionnaire survey. In total, 313 validated responses from analysed using partial least squares—structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings The empirical results reveal positive relationship among GEO, CGP. Moreover, partially mediates between GEO GTT did not moderate GEO-CGP GEO-GAI associations context.
