Smart Farming Technologies enable plant-specific agrochemical applications which can increase the efficiency and reduce environmental impacts of agriculture. However, uptake remains slow despite their potential to enhance sustainable transformation food systems. The design policies promote agricultural technologies requires a holistic understanding complex set factors driving adoption innovations at farm level. This study has focus on behavioral factors, such as pro-environmental attitude, personal innovativeness moral norms. Based an online conducted in Germany, structural equation modelling is applied test predictions extended version Theory Planned Behavior, using spot spraying, smart weeding technology, example. results confirm theoretical show that indicators subjective norms, perceived control have relevant effects farmers' intentions. model revealed medium-sized (small) direct effect norms attitude towards spraying (adoption intention). Personal had small intention, whereas did not exhibit clear direction impact. Methodological policy implications derived from are discussed noting inclusion for improve predictive power models used future research this field. Overall, initiatives aimed facilitating exchange opinions related well collaboration among peers may contribute voluntary innovation it enhances intentions farmers.

Abstract This study examined the factors influencing customers’ consumption intentions and willingness to pay a premium price for 3D-printed food by combining personal innovativeness, perceived compatibility, product value, desire eat, into conceptual framework. Applying extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) framework with this obtained data from 1540 respondents using an online cross-sectional questionnaire utilized partial least squares structural equation modeling verify hypotheses. The findings revealed that inventiveness, attitude, subjective norms, behavioral control exert significant influence on intention food. result also showed significantly affect Furthermore, outcome confirmed that, exception link between food, serves as mediator in relationship research contributes theoretical understanding consumers’ consume providing new insights variables broadening scope TPB’s original model perspective settings Asian nations. These imply sellers market need more attention stimulate intentions, which, turn, views value improve their readiness

Identifying the factors that influence farmers' adoption of low-carbon technologies (FA) and understanding their impacts are essential for shaping effective agricultural policies aimed at emission reduction carbon sequestration in China. Utilizing a meta-analysis 122 empirical studies, this research delves into 23 driving affecting FA tries to address inconsistencies found existing literature. This study systematically examines effect size, source heterogeneity, time-accumulation on FA. Key findings as follows: (1) There is significant level heterogeneity influencing FA, with exception farming experience, sources come from survey zone, methodology model, technological attributes, report source, financial support, sampling year. (2) Age, cost exhibit negative correlation whereas educational level, health status, technical training, economic welfare cognition, land contract, soil quality, terrain, information accessibility, demonstration, government promotion, regulation, cooperatives member, peer effect, income ratio demonstrate positive correlation. Especially, demonstration age show particularly strong (3) The age, well cooperative membership effects generally stable but varying degrees attenuation over time. village cadre, family income, farm scale, gender, off-farm work notable temporal shifts maintain weak plays pivotal role China's current agriculture across various regions. It encourages policymakers comprehensively consider stability key factors, other potential rural social context interrelations.
