Humans are exposed to an ever-increasing number of environmental toxicants, some which have gradually been identified as major risk factors for male reproductive health, even associated with infertility. Diabetes is a metabolic disorder whose prevalence has become worrying condition in recent decades. Chronic diabetes can result serious health conditions such as impaired kidney function, stroke, blindness, and myocardial infarction. Despite variety of currently available treatments, cases its complications are on the rise. This review article provides comprehensive account ameliorative effect prebiotics probiotics individually or combination i.e. synbiotics induced by Type 2 Mellitus (T2DM). Recent advances field underscore encouraging outcomes suggesting consumption leads to favorable changes gut microbiota. These production bioactive metabolites short-chain fatty acids (crucial for lowering blood sugar levels), reducing inflammation, preventing insulin resistance, release glucagon-like peptide-1 host. Notably, novel strategies supplementing support microbiota gaining attraction pivotal interventions mitigating T2DM-induced complications. Thus, nurturing symbiotic relationship between synbiotics, these hold promise reshaping microbial landscape thereby offering multifaceted approach managing T2DM associated morbidities. Supporting potential underscores paradigm shift toward holistic targeted management, prospects improved enhanced quality life affected individuals.
