ABSTRACT It is well established that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as a dominant form of business globally, undoubtedly significantly contribute to national economies the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Purpose Family wineries are important drivers of economic development and cultural conservation, but despite the academic interest in them, a comprehensive literature review is missing. Purpose The purpose of this study is to contribute the research knowledge management in higher education institutions (HEIs) by studying enablers entrepreneurship. Long-term survival is one of family firms' most critical challenges. If the firm intends to pass company next generations, must be vital and endowed with acceptable succession capacity connected an adequate bundle tangible intangible business resources. Considering Resource Based View taking lens on 'familiness', Human Capital Theory Sustainable Family Business Theory, in this paper we aim investigate whether human capital associated survivability and, therefore, can influence long-term resilience or these businesses. sample 547 Polish firms by implementing linear regression models, isolate impact components, i.e. leadership motivation, qualifications, satisfaction creativity, internal external dimensions capital. The results show that neither component influences capital, while all components are significantly ownership, generations management bodies performance was also isolated as potential predictors absorption.
