ABSTRACT The arrival of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technologies marks a significant transformation in the educational landscape, with implications for teaching and learning performance. These can generate content, simulate interactions, adapt to learners' needs, offering opportunities interactive experiences. In China's education sector, incorporating GAI address challenges, enhance practices, improve This study scrutinises impact on performance focusing mediating roles e‐learning competence (EC), desire (DL), beliefs about future (BF), as well moderating role facilitating conditions amongst Chinese educators. Data was collected from 411 teachers across various institutions China using purposive sampling. PLS‐SEM ANN were employed assess suggested structural model. results indicate that significantly influence by EC, DL, BF roles. Furthermore, positively moderate association BF. underscores critical self‐determination theory shaping effective incorporation education, valuable insights outcomes sector.

Today’s widespread and increasing access to the Internet new technologies not only offers great opportunities but also risks for problematic use, whose psychological dynamics need be understood in depth. This study examines how technology addiction may differentially affect well‐being (i.e., psychological, eudaimonic, cognitive hedonic) digital life balance depending on people’s reported levels of online social capital. Seven hundred eleven participants (75.70% female; Mage = 28.33 years, SD 12.30) took part data collection. Drawing Psychology Harmony Harmonization framework, found that people with high capital showed higher scores, as indicated by perceptions satisfaction feelings personal success, compared patterns low In addition, results highlighted a better former group. Overall, findings point key factor unraveling different media addiction, showing it can contribute ensuring driving needs, maintaining even face maladaptive behaviors, ultimately challenging monolithic concept forms addiction. Indeed, suggest potential existence distinct types or shades technological impact differently reflect varying distress, underlying needs behaviors.
