Abstract
Seaweeds
play
essential
ecological
and
biogeochemical
roles
support
important
industrial
applications.
Sustaining
natural
populations
of
seaweeds
under
climate
change
while
simultaneously
putting
to
use
in
solutions
requires
that
we
weave
together
disparate
lines
inquiry—the
the
industrial—to
create
a
more
holistic
perspective
integrated
research
agenda.
Innovation
must
be
than
aspirational—it
evidence
effectiveness
short
term,
promise
sustain
nature
people
long
term.

The
ecosystem
services
can
be
divided
using
two
major
classification
systems,
the
Millennium
Ecosystem
Assessment
(MEA)
and
Common
International
Classification
of
Services
(CICES).
In
MEA
system,
are
into
four
service
clusters:
supporting,
provisioning,
regulating,
cultural.
On
other
hand,
CICES
system
regards
“MEA
supporting
services”
as
organism
natural
function
(and
not
an
service).
Thus,
this
is
basis
for
all
three
(provisioning,
cultural)
provided
by
one
organism.
These
analyzed
type
habitat,
fauna
or
flora.
Seaweeds,
marine
macroalgae,
key
organisms
in
estuarine
seawater
habitats
ecosystems,
which
currently
extreme
importance
due
to
climate
changes
blue–green
economy.
Seaweeds
humankind
have
been
interlinked
from
beginning,
mainly
a
food
source,
fibers,
biochemicals,
medicine,
ornamental
resources,
art
inspiration,
esthetic
values
several
coastal
communities.
Moreover,
they
being
studied
green
carbon,
carbon
sequestration,
possible
source
biomedical
pharmaceutical
areas.
This
review
concise
ecological
seaweeds
their
impact
human
life
maintenance
status
quo.

Abstract
Blooms
of
microalgal
red
tides
and
macroalgae
(e.g.,
green
golden
caused
by
Ulva
Sargassum
)
have
widespread
problems
around
China
in
recent
years,
but
there
is
uncertainty
what
triggers
these
blooms
how
they
interact.
Here,
we
use
30
years
monitoring
data
to
help
answer
questions,
focusing
on
the
four
main
species
microalgae
Prorocentrum
donghaiense
,
Karenia
mikimotoi
Noctiluca
scintillans
Skeletonema
costatum
associated
with
region.
The
frequency
increased
from
1991
2003
then
decreased
until
2020,
S.
exhibiting
highest
rate
decrease.
Green

Coastal
zones
can

Atlantic

clams

Mercenaria
mercenaria

eastern
oysters
Crassostrea
virginica
blue
mussels
Mytilus
edulis
)
grown
without
increased
kelp
Saccharina
latissima
over
a
range
aquaculture
densities
(0.3
–
g
L
-1
).
In
all
experiments,
exposure
to
elevated
p
(>1,800
µatm)
resulted
in
significantly
reduced
shell-
and/or
tissue-based
growth
rates
bivalves
relative
control
conditions.

species
redistributions
are
facilitated
by
niche
modifications
that
increase
a
species's
chances
of
establishment
in
novel
communities.

is
well
understood
how
range-extending
adjust

healthy
and
degraded
by

field
