Purpose: International students are highly vulnerable to the risk of mental health worsening before and during pandemic (COVID-19). This study investigated international students' pre- post-pandemic Methods: It is a longitudinal study, data were collected online, pre-pandemic (N = 470) 420). Using random sampling technique, self-administered questionnaire was used measure health, including depression anxiety. Results: Findings show that good in pre-pandemic. This collaborative, reflective research paper delves into the doctoral socialization experiences of two international students navigating pre‐ and postrelocation realities amid COVID‐19 complexities. The authors juxtapose our journeys in Global South (pre‐relocation) North (postrelocation), scrutinizing learning outcomes, access to resources academic professional opportunities. Objective: The study aims to capture the emotional challenges faced by international students due changes in U.S. visa regulations during COVID-19 outbreak. Participants: 165 from University of Florida participated study. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional online survey using previously validated questionnaire tools (PHQ-9 and GAD-7). collected data was quantitatively analyzed through different statistical approaches, including ANOVA, Independent Sample t-Test, Binary Logistic Regression. Results: 18.8% our sample had moderately severe depressive status, 20.6% anxiety. Additionally, there statistically significant difference depression anxiety scores based on gender. Conclusions: Our findings addressed importance taking serious measures when emotionally impactful political issues arise prevent development mental illnesses among at institutions higher education.

Adapting to university life in Saudi Arabia can be difficult for international students. This qualitative research, based on the social adaption framework, explore detail problems that students experience during their enrolment at Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), which is located Riyadh, Arabia. Utilizing purposeful sampling, 20 participated semi-structured interviews. The interviews contained 16 questions elicit students' perceptions about challenges they encountered faced residence Findings revealed experienced language barriers, had deal with issues regarding culture shock, and episodes of depression, nostalgia, stress, loneliness, homesickness. The current study explored the experiences of Asian International Students (AISs) in terms mental health, disclosure and help-seeking within Higher Education Scotland, UK. A qualitative using individual semi-structured interviews with AISs (n = 20) was used an inductive thematic approach to analysis conducted. Three major themes were developed: (1) Negative beliefs, stigma fear judgment, (2) Adaptation acculturation difficulties (3) Barriers communication, social disconnection loneliness. As studies on the mental health status of university students during COVID-19 pandemic are almost non-existent in Hong Kong, we examined four research questions this paper: What is prevalence depressive symptoms Kong? socio-demographic correlates symptoms? Background: Higher education institutions and public health agencies in the United States (US) have recognized that food insecurity is pervasive interferes with student learning on multiple levels. However, less research has examined among culturally diverse college students. A cross-sectional online survey was conducted to estimate prevalence predictors of for US-born White, Multicultural, International students aged 18-34 at a Midwest university. The secondary aims were describe dietary meal characteristics, use assistance programs, including on-campus pantry. Methods: In April 2022, 853 completed 10-item US Adult Food Security Module, demographic, fat intake, attitude, access barriers, nutrition program usage questions using socio ecological model (SEM) framework. Results: security 73.3% (54.7% high, 18.5% marginal) 26.7% (14.4% low, 12.3% very low). Significantly more (26.8%) Multicultural (35.6%) classified as food-insecure compared White (19.9%; p < 0.001). Introduction and background Research indicates that Chinese International College Students (CICS) encounter considerable cultural mental health challenges while studying in the United States. However, there has been limited focus on processes outcomes of effective intervention programs tailored to their needs. This study adopted a research-through-service approach design, implement, evaluate four-week group program aimed at enhancing well-being CICS. Methods The was designed with perspective services for CICS should be culturally specific, growth-oriented, focused promoting positive learning rather than merely addressing problems or solutions. Group sessions were conducted emphasized experiential activities participants’ confidence fostering mindset. Thirteen voluntarily participated intervention. One three weeks after program, twelve participants took part semi-structured post-group interviews. These interviews explored reflections experience, general perspectives well-being, perceived strategies managing those challenges, attitudes toward seeking professional help when needed. interview data analyzed using Consensus Qualitative (CQR) method (Hill, 2012). Results Participants shared experiences conflicts they faced, as well active coping employed. included confiding trusted individuals, practicing forbearance self-regulation, practical solutions underlying problems. Objective: To examine international student-athletes' (ISAs) rates of depression, perceived stress, problematic drinking, and sleep disturbance. Participants: 509 ISAs (Mage = 20.39 years, women 63.1%) from over 80 NCAA institutions. Methods: Survey data were collected in April/May 2020. Results: Overall, 27.9% 9.2% endorsed clinical high levels depression respectively; 2.4% (n 12) reported severe disturbances 12.4% 63) drinking.
