We sought to develop and validate a self-assessment burnout scale of the Chinese general population during COVID-19 pandemic in context dynamic zero-COVID policy. Factors relevant individuals’ prolonged were identified literature through reviews an expert panel. A convenience sample 1087 was randomly divided into two subsamples scale’s psychometric properties assessed. Findings suggested that BFS has adequate reliability (α = 0.90) along with factorial, concurrent, convergent validity. Results confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported one-factor structure scale. Concurrent validity results indicate significant positive correlation between Fear Scale (r 0.131, p < 0.001), suggesting individuals higher levels may also have fear COVID, or vice versa. The correlated positively being against strategy 0.340, indicating level be associated who are strategy. suggest five-item is valid reliable for measurement frequency relation policy context.

The aim of this study was to assess the influence perceived work environment, empowerment and psychological stress on job burnout among nurses working at time COVID-19 pandemic.Nurses experienced high levels during pandemic, which impacted their mental health well-being. The COVID-19 pandemic has strained hospitals and healthcare workers engaged in combating the virus with limited knowledge resources. Intensive care unit (ICU) nurses are among most affected by at risk for developing burnout syndrome.The present study aims to explore symptoms prevalence ICU identify individual, organizational, contextual risk, protective factors of during pandemic.A scoping review was conducted searching PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. Only papers empirical data referred were included. A total 350 initial results yielded, 40 full texts screened. Twelve constituted final sample analysis.High levels (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, reduced personal accomplishment) registered pandemic. Increased workload, lack equipment, social stigma, fear contagion emerged as key factors. Social support from leaders colleagues, professional recognition, use tools, witnessing patients' successful recovery major factors.The may inform development timely actions counter this a post-COVID-19 scenario.

This study aimed to measure the prevalence of burnout syndrome, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic disorders (PTSD), as well examine their associated factors among Thai healthcare workers (HCWs) during COVID-19 outbreak.We employed a multiple-method design at tertiary-care hospital in Bangkok between May 22, 2021 June 30, by using an online survey. During the COVID-19 pandemic, risk to nurses’ mental health has increased rapidly. The aim of study was investigate prevalence depression and burnout evaluate their possible association with sense coherence in nursing staff during pandemic crisis. Copenhagen Burnout Inventory questionnaire, Beck’s Depression Inventory, Sense Coherence questionnaire were completed by 101 male 559 female nurses. Individual demographic data recorded. Regarding depression, 25.5% respondents exhibited mild 13.5% moderate 7.6% severe depression. In scale, 47.1% had a pathological value. Female nurses higher (t test p < 0.01, 49.03 vs. 38.74) 11.29 6.93) scores compared men lower levels (p 0.05, 59.45 65.13).
