Abstract Aim To explore the relationship among clinical nurses' perception of decent work, role clarity, and job embeddedness, to analyze mediating effect work on clarity provide reference for improving embeddedness level. ABSTRACT Aim This study uses latent profile analysis to explore the characteristics of research competence among speciality nurses and its influencing factors. Design is a cross‐sectional study. Methods From January February 2024, 813 were recruited from five tertiary hospitals in Henan Province, China, using convenience sampling method. Participants completed an online questionnaire, which included scientific ability self‐evaluation rating scale nursing staff reflective practice questionnaire. Conducted identified factors their profiles through univariate multiple logistic regression. Data analysed Mplus version 8.3 SPSS 26.0. Results A total 792 enrolled, with valid response rate 97.42%. We three categories nurses: uneven group (30.93%), high (19.07%), moderate (50.0%). Multiple regressions indicated that single more likely belong (OR = 2.04, p 0.003); college diploma 0.04, 0.005); specialty who are permanent 1.946, 0.031); was important factor affecting 0.985–1.015, < 0.05). Conclusions The majority classified into group. Nursing managers should focus on enhancing awareness strengthening training for those lower educational backgrounds. Additionally, it recommended establish incentive mechanisms participating enhance enthusiasm foster skills throughout process. Decent work perception significantly influences an individual's professional decisions and choices. This survey aimed to evaluate the current status influencing factors of decent among pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurses, provide insights for clinical nurse management care. The PICU nurses in a university hospital at Nanjing, China were surveyed during May 1st 31st, 2024. Nurse Work Perception Scale with good validity reliability was used level nurses. SPSS 23.0 software package data analysis. A total 176 included. score included 51.46 ± 8.22, indicating that have relatively low work. Age(r = 0.506), title(r 0.464) average monthly income(r 0.539) positively correlated educational level(r=-0.526) been personally assaulted(r=-0.512) negatively (all P < 0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated age, level, title, income assaulted independently p is low, highlighting need prioritize improvement their salary, levels, career development opportunities. Besides, hospitals should organizational support ensure secure working environment.
