A primary brain tumour diagnosis is known to elicit higher distress than other forms of cancer and related high depressive symptomatology. Using a cross-sectional design, the present study explored how individuals cope with this using an attachment theory framework. Attachment anxiety avoidance were hypothesised be positively helplessness/hopelessness, anxious preoccupation, cognitive avoidance; negatively fighting spirit fatalism coping. Violence in the workplace is one of most serious issues affecting healthcare sector. The incidence violent behaviour towards workers increasing worldwide.
