This research was designed to investigate the metabolite profiling, phenolics, and flavonoids content as well potential nematicidal properties of decoction (ZpDe), orange-yellow resin (ZpRe) essential oil (ZpEO) from Argentinean medicinal plant Zuccagnia punctata Cav. Additionally, antioxidant antibacterial ZpDe ZpEO were determined. Metabolite profiling obtained by an ultrahigh-resolution liquid chromatography MS analysis (UHPLC-ESI-QTOF/OT-MS-MS) GCMS. The activity assayed a standardized method against Meloidogyne incognita. screened four methods: (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl assay (DPPH), Trolox equivalent (TEAC), ferric-reducing power (FRAP), lipid peroxidation in erythrocytes (ILP). evaluated according Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) rules. ZpDe, ZpRe displayed strong with LC50 0.208, 0.017 0.142 mg/mL, respectively. On other hand, showed DPPH scavenging (IC50 = 28.54 µg/mL); ILP 87.75% at 250 µg ZpDe/mL moderated antimicrobial activity. promising panel yeasts Candida albicans non-albicans (ATCC clinically isolated) MIC values 750 1500 µg/mL. phenolics flavonoid compounds 241 mg GAE/g 10 EQ/g, Fifty phenolic identified (UHPLC-PDA- Q-TOF-MS) analysis, while forty-six UHPLC-ESI-Q-OT-MS-MS twenty-nine using GC-MS updating knowledge on chemical profile this species. results support standardize mainly environmentally friendly sustainable bionematicide for control horticultural crops including tomatoes peppers source which could be further explored exploited applications.

The essential oil (EO) of Schinus areira exhibits a chemical composition dominated by monoterpene and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, with α-phellandrene, limonene, α-pinene, p-cymene as major constituents. This study aimed to evaluate the effects S. EO on biology behavior Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata, particularly its attraction impact reproductive survival. Females were attracted at initial choice time spent in arm Y-tube olfactometer was longer, while males final choice, indicating attractive potential for both sexes C. capitata. Within context sterile insect technique (SIT), better performance released allows more copulations wild females competition males, increasing efficacy SIT. Exposure tsl did not enhance their sexual competitiveness increased latency initiate copulation, adverse effects. In addition, oviposition assays, only low concentration stimulated egg-laying treated substrates, possibly due absence deterrent compounds such linalool. Finally, LD50 <25 µg/fly 72 h post-treatment. These findings highlight EOs biopesticides that influence behaviors capitata emphasize need further studies optimize application integrated pest management strategies, including
