Bu çalışmanın amacı, düzenli yürüyüş yapma ve aralıklı orucun insülin direnci kan lipid profili üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. Çalışmaya en az 24 gün oruç tutan olarak haftada 5 30 dakika egzersizi yapan 18 yaş üstü 38 yetişkin (22 erkek, 16 kadın) dahil edildi. Bel çevresi, vücut ağırlığı, profili, diğer biyokimyasal parametreler oruçtan önce sonra ölçüldü. Verileri analiz etmek için eşleştirilmiş t-testi kullanılmıştır. Abstract Background The prevalence of obesity is rising globally and effective strategies to treat are needed. Intermittent fasting, a dietary intervention for weight management, has received growing interest from the general public, as well healthcare professionals, form lifestyle intervention. Methods We executed rapid review using PUBMED database identify systematic reviews that examined impact intermittent fasting on metabolic indices, published between 2011 2022. Results leads loss similar magnitude continuous energy restriction. Most evidence shows greater fat measured by mass (kg) or body percentage compared an ad libitum diet, but attained during not significantly different restriction, although recent be superior. There mixed insulin resistance, glucose lipid profile. Some studies focused populations Muslim people, which showed Ramadan may lead improvement parameters effects reversed when finished. Conclusions more than intake, equally management. However, there inconclusive whether clinically beneficial effect metabolism.

Background: Prediabetes is a condition that often precedes the onset of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Literature evidence indicates prediabetes reversible, making it an important therapeutic target for preventing progression to T2DM. Several studies have investigated intermittent fasting as possible method manage or treat prediabetes. Objectives: This study evaluated impact 14:10-hour time-restricted feeding (TRF) regimen on leptin concentration, insulin sensitivity and selected markers associated with signalling pathway glucose homeostasis in diet-induced prediabetic rats. Methods: Twenty-four male Sprague Dawley rats were obtained randomly divided into two dietary groups: group 1 (n = 6) received standard diet water, while 18) was provided high-fat, high-carbohydrate (HFHC) supplemented 15% fructose period 20 weeks induce After confirming prediabetes, (IF) assigned also having untreated metformin-treated serving controls. Results: Both IF HFHC-Met groups yield significantly lower blood glucose, BMI results compared group. The yielded insulin, HOMA-IR HbA1C than both Conclusions: showed potential alleviating prediabetes-induced dysregulation therefore warrants further investigations its use management

Intermittent fasting focuses on the timing of eating rather than diet quality or energy intake, with evidence supporting its effects weight loss and improvements in cardiometabolic outcomes adults obesity. However, there is limited for feasibility efficacy young people. To address this, a scoping review was conducted to examine intermittent regimens individuals aged 10 25 treatment obesity focusing methodology, intervention parameters, outcomes, adherence, feasibility, efficacy. Due paucity this age group, adequately assess all published studies category, regardless status intention, were included review. The 34 (28 interventional 6 observational studies) 893 participants 12 25. Interventions varied 9 cohorts utilizing as an treatment. Thirteen utilized 8-h time-restricted eating. Primary risk factors (7/28), anthropometric measurements body composition (5/28), muscular performance (4/28), (1/28), others (4/28). All people reported some degree loss, although comparator groups significantly. This underscores various utilizations group highlights potential treating findings emphasize need rigorous standardized frameworks ensure comparability determine fasting's practicality depending outcome interest.

This study assesses the feasibility of calorie restriction (CR) and time-restricted feeding (TRF) in overweight obese cancer patients who realized little to no physical activity undergoing curative radiotherapy, structured as a prospective, interventional, non-randomized open-label clinical trial. Of 27 participants initially enrolled, 21 with breast were selected for analysis. The self-selected into two dietary interventions: TRF, comprising sugar saturated fat-free diet calibrated individual energy needs consumed within an 8 h eating window followed by 16 fast, or CR, involving 25% reduction total caloric intake from expenditure distributed across 4 meals 1 snack 55% carbohydrates, 15% protein, 30% fats, excluding sugars fats. primary goal was evaluate these diets specific patient group. results indicate that both interventions are effective statistically significant weight loss reducing one’s waist circumference, TRF showing potentially stronger impact better adherence. Changes LDL, HDL, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose insulin not significant.
