The use of blood plasma, fibrinogen or fibrin, a natural biomaterial, has been widely studied for the development different skin tissue-engineered products and other dermatological treatments. This systematic review reports preclinical clinical studies which it alone combined with biomaterials and/or cells treatment several conditions. Following PRISMA 2020 Guidelines, 147 have revealed that this biomaterial as wound dressing monolayer (one cell type) substitute are preferred strategies, mainly excisional surgical wounds. Moreover, plasma is used although its combination such agarose, polyethylene glycol collagen also reported to increase healing potential. However, most 17 reviewed evaluated severely burned patients bilayer (two types) substitute. Although number evaluating increased during last fifteen years, not correlated wide variety studies. Its safety potential proved; however, lack standard model presence approaches meant translation environment still limited. A higher should be carried out in coming years set strategy each disease.

In recent years, several types of platelet concentrates have been investigated and applied in many fields, particularly the musculoskeletal system. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is an autologous biomaterial, a second-generation concentrate containing platelets growth factors form membranes prepared from blood patients without additives. During tissue regeneration, contain higher percentage leukocytes flexible net as scaffold to improve cell migration angiogenic, osteogenic, antibacterial capacities during regeneration. PRF enables release molecules over longer period, which promotes healing The potential simulate physiology immunology wound also due high concentrations released anti-inflammatory cytokines that stimulate vessel formation, proliferation, differentiation. These products used safely clinical applications because their origin minimally invasive nature. We focused on narrative review therapy its effects musculoskeletal, oral, maxillofacial surgeries dermatology. explored components leading biological activity published preclinical research supports application therapy. generally use adjuvant for various chronic muscle, cartilage, tendon injuries. Further trials are needed prove benefits utilizing PRF.

Abstract Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most prevalent type of hair loss. Its morbility mainly psychological although an increased incidence in melanoma has also been observed affected subjects. Current drug based therapies and physical treatments are either unsuccessful long term or have relevant side effects that limit their application. Therefore, a new therapeutic approach needed to promote regenerative enhancement alternatives. These treatment options, focused on cellular niche restoration, could be solution impact dihydrotestosterone follicle microenvironment. In this context emerging such as Platelet-rich plasma fibrine well stem cells mesenchymal cell derivatives (conditioned medium CM exoxomes) highlighting evolving landscape restoration. Nanotechnology leading way AGA through design bioinks nanobiomaterials whose structures being configuring huge range cases by means 3D bioprinting. Due increasing number rapid creation advanced alternatives field, extended review current state art needed. addition provides general insight which intented guidance for researchers cutting edge recently gaining ground.

METHODS A structured PubMed publications before October 2023, with a focus on literature from January 2020 2023. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION Growing supports utility benefits related autologous products applications hair, strongest androgenetic alopecia rejuvenation. However, this is limited by best practices protocols. Randomized, controlled trials uniform metrics comparing outcomes various compositions blood products, preparation methods, dosimetry, frequency treatments are still required. Abstract This narrative review summarizes current knowledge on the use of autologous platelet concentrates (APCs) in esthetic medicine, with goal providing clinicians reliable information for clinical practice. APCs contain platelets that release various growth factors potential applications facial and dermatologic treatments. examines several APCs, including acne scarring, skin rejuvenation, melasma, vitiligo, stretchmarks, peri‐orbital peri‐oral hair regeneration volumizing effects APC gels. A systematic literature databases (PubMed/MEDLINE) was conducted up to October 2023 identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) English language rejuvenation dermatology. total 96 articles were selected those rich plasma (PRP), plasma‐rich (PRGF), platelet‐rich fibrin (PRF). Clinical recommendations gained from reviews are provided. In summary, esthetics is a promising yet relatively recent treatment approach. Overall, majority studies have focused PRP positive outcomes. Only few compared versus PRF all demonstrating superior outcomes using PRF. The existing limitations small sample sizes lack standardized assessment criteria. Future research should utilize well‐designed RCTs, incorporating appropriate controls, such as split‐face comparisons, protocols usage, optimal number sessions, interval between objective improvement scores. Nevertheless, most formulations offer an ability improve parameters concerns.

Abstract Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a second-generation platelet concentrate, was developed for the purpose of overcoming limitations plasma (PRP). PRF can produce higher cumulative release growth factors than PRP. Also, this is slow and prolonged, making it ideal tissue regeneration stimulation. This study conducted to evaluate efficacy fluid either alone or combined with needling versus PRP in treatment atrophic acne scars. A comparative including 30 patients scars who were divided into two equal groups. Group I included 15 which left side face treated intradermal injection while right II included15 . All received four sessions 3 weeks interval. The significantly improved both sides According quartile grading scale patient satisfaction; therapeutic response group needling. combination increases Fluid highly effective, safe simple procedure that be used instead

Abstract Background Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a major cause of hair loss resulting from complex interplay between various genes and hormones with the result being follicular miniaturization altered cycle dynamics. Platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) has well‐established role as adjunctive therapy in AGA but there are many limitations it. In an attempt to overcome shortcomings PRP, liquid platelet‐rich fibrin (PRF) was developed. Aim This article critically reviews protocol for preparation clinical outcomes PRF. Patients/Methods The articles published so far English language regarding PRF were reviewed. Results Among five studies analyzing centrifugation speeds times, three favored low‐speed centrifugation, whereas two did not support this methodology. A horizontal centrifuge may be preferred over fixed‐angle Five on use showed significant effect AGA. Conclusion At present, no consensus Most used low speed less time. Larger needed determine optimal force due higher yield platelets, lesser shear trauma cells. addition, larger, well‐designed confirm benefits PRP.
